SkylandsPlus+
Description
This plugin will add a replacement for the default skylands world generator, the one in the game was never finished.
Stuff that this generator has that the default skylands doesn't:
- Day-night cycle
- Weather
- Normal biomes
- All mobs
- All ores

How do I use it ?
Don't want to watch the awesome video ? Fine, here are the basic commands.
/mv create skylands normal -g SkylandsPlus
Or a skylands style Nether like this
/mv create skylands nether -g SkylandsPlus
Or a skylands style End like this
/mv create skylands the_end -g SkylandsPlus
Other world management plugins should have similar commands, I use Multiverse on my server which is why I only provide the instructions for that. The documentation for which ever plugin you use should tell you how to do it. You can also add a world by editing the bukkit.yml file, instructions on how to do that can be found on the Bukkit wiki.

prevent-sand-falling: true restrict-mob-spawning: true
prevent-sand-falling - When set to true no sand will fall in skylands worlds.
restrict-mob-spawning - When set to true the number of mobs in a single chunk will be limited to a sane amount in skylands worlds.
Contributing
Contributions to the project are very much welcome, if you have a feature that you want implemented and know a nice way to do it then consider forking the repo and submitting a pull request. These will be accepted as long as the following simple guidelines are followed.
- Do not edit the structure of the pom.xml file, feel free to add a dependency if you need it but the formatting and structure should not be changed.
- If you are exposing a new API method, add a JavaDoc comment to it, but don't over-comment internal code.
- Follow the existing code style, don't antagonise over every space though !
All dependencies that are used are now available from a public Maven repo, so you don't have to worry about building several other projects just to add a simple change any more.

Same problem here, some areas are full of 1x1 holes and there are no trees, instead of trees there are two tall grasses on top of each other.
For the 1.7.2 Dev build, it seems to work pretty well, but I noticed there's a few strange areas that look sort of like a checkerboard. There will be like grass and just big holes in the checkerboard type area. I've used this plugin before and don't remember it ever doing that. Anyone else notice that issue? When it was generating the world, I had a lot of spam in console with this message: "n must be positive"

I am Danger Smoog I'm an admin on a nice little growing server named SkylandsMC.
We are growing at a pleasant rate and hope to update very soon! The only issue is our biggest most important plug-in is SkylandsPlus Which has been having some issues for a while, but not enough to cause panic. Although we fear with this big update we're doing it will experience a lot of bugs! Considering nearly our whole world is generated with skylands plus this could be a major issue. That's why I was messaging to ask, Do you plan on updating it at anypoint for 1.7.2? I would very much like to hear back from you thank you for your time!

Use the dev build. It seems to work fine for me with 1.6.4.
Seems the creator doesn't care about this plugin anymore or the problems it had sad it was a great plugin...
Hi, please update skylandsplus. with Minecraft 1.6.2 and aktually multiworld version, skylands don't work
Is it possible to create multi-layer skylands with this? (As in, it takes full use of the 256 high build limit)
Redstone doesn't as well what is wrong with this???
Diamonds don't spawn for some reason with this O.o they use to before....

Swampland is rare and Mushroom is very very rare. Have you ever seen a Mushroom Biome in some World?
And there must be a island at this position to see the biome. Mushroom island is a very small biome. When it's generated between two island, it will be very useless..
Plug in is WAY too rigged, too many ores, too many mobs..how do i edit this stufF?
When i generated the map, there was only ONE biome.. ?
