Description
This plugin will add a replacement for the default skylands world generator, the one in the game was never finished.
Stuff that this generator has that the default skylands doesn't:
- Day-night cycle
- Weather
- Normal biomes
- All mobs
- All ores

How do I use it ?
Don't want to watch the awesome video ? Fine, here are the basic commands.
/mv create skylands normal -g SkylandsPlus
Or a skylands style Nether like this
/mv create skylands nether -g SkylandsPlus
Or a skylands style End like this
/mv create skylands the_end -g SkylandsPlus
Other world management plugins should have similar commands, I use Multiverse on my server which is why I only provide the instructions for that. The documentation for which ever plugin you use should tell you how to do it. You can also add a world by editing the bukkit.yml file, instructions on how to do that can be found on the Bukkit wiki.
Config
prevent-sand-falling: true restrict-mob-spawning: true
prevent-sand-falling - When set to true no sand will fall in skylands worlds.
restrict-mob-spawning - When set to true the number of mobs in a single chunk will be limited to a sane amount in skylands worlds.
Contributing
Contributions to the project are very much welcome, if you have a feature that you want implemented and know a nice way to do it then consider forking the repo and submitting a pull request. These will be accepted as long as the following simple guidelines are followed.
- Do not edit the structure of the pom.xml file, feel free to add a dependency if you need it but the formatting and structure should not be changed.
- If you are exposing a new API method, add a JavaDoc comment to it, but don't over-comment internal code.
- Follow the existing code style, don't antagonise over every space though !
All dependencies that are used are now available from a public Maven repo, so you don't have to worry about building several other projects just to add a simple change any more.

Thanks. Installed MV2 now. SkyLands didn't generate a new world in minecraft folder, so I cant use that command

I just need to be a little stupid/ noob here :) How do I generate a "SkylandsPlus" world so I can enter it? And how can I enter it? Got Multiworld portal plugin, but I need to get to the world first to make a portal there.
@wide_load Need to somehow Increase the rate mobs spawn terribly slow at spawning new mob I hardly find any variation. any plugin suggestions why exactly do they spawn so slowly, I read something about other plugins that control mob spawns will also take over this so that probably a good thing.

Does this support endermen? Can endermen spawn in skylands?

Hey, How Come This Gives Multiverse "An Internal Error Occured When Attempting This Command" Only when I try to generate a skylands world? I know it's this plugin because when I remove it it's fine.
EDIT* I Got It. I Guess I Just Needed To Reboot. Great Plugin.

It already works with 1.8, the only update will be the config file to add enderman, that will be done when a new RB is released.

I just noticed this, thanks for the fast response, I have a suggestion then.
Is it possible to mod the generation so that all animal and mob types can spawn, See in 1.8 I'm try to give each of my worlds a reason to be used in this case skylands I had planned to make home to all the animal mobs other than squids and chickens.
My server for 1.8 starts u off in Space Fleet in ofc a Space world and I wanted to make the other worlds resources scattered as stated above to promote world usage.
Edit: I should have read more nvm, It appears I can get animals to spawn here just fine according your config.
Edit2 While I am thinking about it, Should update this for 1.8 even using the dev versions should work, or at least have plans to update it, I really would need to use this along side multiverse2 and another mob control plugin as I plan to endermen only spawn in skylands :P along side all passive mobs.
Due to the fact the story is earth was attacked by endermen and so they developed the means to safely travel around space in fleets of ships and portals, the endermen naturally have been harvesting animals and taking them to there home world. This home world is ofc going to be skyland.
naturally no passive mobs will spawn on any other world this is all part of my design to make each world have a purpose.

oh I though this was a replacement for the skylands/Dreamland Plugin. So this just adds trees and stuff I see in those pics to worlds generated as skylands and not Normal.

Not sure what you mean by bed spawn ? All this does is add some features to existing worlds it does not modify the terrain, just adds trees.
Can this be used to just generate the terrain and turn off all the features like bed spawn and stuff I just want this terrain as I plan to use it with multiverse2.
Also is this getting updated to use 1.8 gen blocks as well ?

It works by adding a block populator to the existing skylands generator when a skylands world is detected. And I don’t want to have to check comments, ticket, the bukkit forum and the forums of each of my plugins so no forum for now :D
Just wanted to clarify does this plugin actually perform world generation, or just use/modify the built in skylands?
Also you should setup your Forum to not let this comment section get too clogged.
