Simple Player List
Main | Installation | Configuration
Description
Simple Player List is the successor to OnlinePlayers. It is a plugin which collects the currently active members on your server and sends the information to a webpage that can be viewed by the public.
It displays whether or not the server is online, the users who are currently online (if any) and the number of users online out of the total that can be online.
There are two configuration files. One for the Bukkit plugin, so that it can connect to the PHP script. The other is to configure the functionality of the actual list display.
Permissions support (which is entirely optional), to enable the creation of custom ranks. You can create as many ranks as you want, and call them whatever you like. The purpose is to add a little tag, or prefix before the user's name in the player list.
Features
- Automatically updating active player list, viewable as a webpage.
- Permissions support for custom ranks. (Optional)
- Easy to configure with simple and explained config files.
- Status of the server is displayed as offline or online.
- Run on ANY Server. The server can send the list to any website or computer that has the correct php files. This means if the physical Minecraft server is off, the scripts can still run and display that the server is offline.
- Compact display. No confusing extra crap around the page to distract from the real purpose of the list.
- The ability to display a users skin face next to their name.
- The format of the list can be altered and parts removed to get exactly what you want.
- Give your users ranks with the config.yml file and simple permission nodes.
- Simple Prefix (link) integration. If you are running Simple Prefix, users prefixes will be used as ranks.

To Do's
- Order the players in the list by their ranks.
Is there a way to get the names only on a simple line like:
As simple as that?
@Kanlaki101
If you look just above this comment, the "To Do's" it's already in there. That is a planned feature.
Could you make it possible to separate the players based on a permissions group?
If player has: simpleplayerlist.staff, he would be shown above the other players like so:
Staff:
[face] [face] [face]
Members:
[face] [face] [face]
Add permissions for multiple groups of players, and configurable group titles?
@creeperape
Visit the receiver.php it downloads the file. It needs to render the file on the web server. Your server is configured incorrectly.

@SolidGeek
That's a bug in the current version. Other people including myself have that too. It's something that I need to fix but don't have the time available right now. It's not a bug that is plugin breaking, so I have to leave it for a little while. When I get the time, I will fix it. Sorry for the inconvieniance this has caused anyone.
HOTFIX: Just change the server-off.png to the same as server-on.png. For now, this will always display the server as on, even when it really is off. However, it will at least not confuse your users as much. Another "fix" would be to replace both the offline and online images with a blank 1px image, so it doesn't show anything until it is fixed.
Hey,
First I wanna say, what a awesome plugin/mod you have made! But I have a problem. The script is showing all things, and working very well, except it says that my server is offline, then it's not?
You have any idear about what it could be? Really love this plugin. My config on my website is:
