Description
Ever wanted to move a mob spawner? With SilkSpawners, you can now pick up and move monster spawners.
If you use a pickaxe with the silktouch enchantment you will receive the spawner again.
You can control each mob spawner, allow crafting and of course mod support.
I'm happy to hear about your opinion, just leave a comment with a feature request, bug, improvement or just a personal opinion.

Commands
Only the bukkit permissions are supported!
I highly recommend that you use a plugin for permissions like bPermissions
If no permission system is found, all commands are for OPs only!
If you suffix a mob name with egg you will receive an egg instead.

/ss help - Displays the help menu.
/ss list|all - Displays all available creatures.
/ss view - Displays information about the viewed spawner.
/ss reload|rl - Reloads the configuration files.
/ss change|set <newMob> - Changes the spawner you are currently holding or viewing at.
/ss give|add <player> <mob> [amount] - Gives a spawner or egg to the player. Amount is optional.
/ss selfget|i <mob> [amount] - Gives a spawner or egg to you. Amount is optional.

Known Bugs
- If sign shops are not working, you may want to try my custom sign shop addon: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/12028/
- Mobs like Ghasts or Giants are too big for the spawner, this a Minecraft bug and I can't fix that
- Some older Essentials versions/ports are not updated properly for 1.8. There is a maintained fork called EssentialsX you should try.
- If you use Gui Sign Shop and users are unable to place spawners, you need to grant them the guishop.spawner permission from Gui Sign Shop
- Holographic Displays makes Slime spawners non functional
- UltraCosmetics, causes some spawners to non function: https://github.com/iSach/UltraCosmetics/issues/259

Disabling bStats
The file ./plugins/bStats/config.yml
contains an option to opt-out.

If you are encountering issues with only one correct spawn and a revert back to pigs, please UPDATE YOUR SERVER, this bug has been fixed by the Spigot team. See https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-92282 and https://hub.spigotmc.org/jira/browse/SPIGOT-3496
I upgraded my server to 1.12.1, but the plugin does not recognize the individual mob spawners with the most recent dev build #441. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or is the plugin just not updated yet?

I am about to upgrade my server from 1.11.2 to 1.12.1 but version 4.0.0 only works for CraftBukkit 1.12.0. I'll wait until xGh0sTkiLLeRx makes a compatible version for 1.12.1. ;-)

Hello! I must say, I absolutely love this plugin, its honestly something my friends and I agree should be in the game by default, but I digress.
We've been having an issue with configuring the plugin, specifically, we've been trying to disable the spawner itself dropping when broken with silk touch, instead only dropping an egg, which you would then have to craft in to a spawner again. The goal is to make it so only silk touch picks can drop the egg. (Is this possible?)
The problem isn't that the crafting recipe doesn't work, but that when we break spawners with silk touch, it doesn't drop the egg. If I break it with a regular pick, or an enchanted one without silk touch, the egg drops. I've hit a dead end, and honestly cannot figure out what I need to change to get this to reverse.

Hello how can I set a permission so that my users can use /ss change on spawn eggs but not spawners. I am running a 1.8.9 server with silkspawners 4.0.0
so its good but only problem is i add silkspawners.place.* and when i get my players to try to palce spawner they get a error that says "skipping blockentity with id" and i am not sure why i use pex for permissions
I have installed silk spawners and I am operator on my server and for some reason normal players do not get a spawner back, any tips?

idk if anyone else is having this problem but when i install the plugin it works but once i do a server restart it disappears from my /pl and i have to uninstall it then reinstall it for it to work. and although its not in my /pl on my host it still says i have the plugins installed. if any one knows why please help
