I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
Name | ID | Description |
---|---|---|
Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Same exact issue as RedFeliks. Try to activate it and it says it can not find the Ships sign.
MC version 1.10 Ships version 5.0.1.8
The [ships] sign is the only thing that turns to bedrock for 10 seconds when using the "/ships sign track 10" command.

Good day to you too. I can help you. Gong to need a tiny bit of info to help me work out the issue.
First of all, what ships version are you using? (Type '/ships info' to find out the version number)
And what mc version is the server?
Lastly. If you look at the [ships] sign and type '/ships sign track 10' then it will cover what ships detects in bedrock for 10 seconds. If the [move] is changed to bedrock the issue is much worse

I've been getting an error all the time, because when I create a ship and make the [Move] sign and try to activate it it says can not find the Ships sign. But the ships sign is right next to it. this error is for me to all types of vessels

Yep that information is usful.
The error is occuring because you are using ships 5.0.1.8 (MC 1.10) when you are running MC 1.9.4. if you use Ships 5.0.1.8 (mc 1.9-1.9.4) that should work

Ive checked the past 8 pages for your original comment and failed to find it so please forgive me if i ask the same questions.
If you are receiving"null" when moving a ship it means that there is a error when booting the plugin. Please send me any errors relating to ships on boot (if any)

Likely hood is yes. Im doing the tests right now. There will be a more optimised version for 1.10, much like there was for 1.9-1.9.2.
There is a optimised Ships 5.0.1.8 for MC1.10 awaiting approval now
It also supports 1.10?
Because i live in Greece it is going to be hard to collaborate with time so tell me what time can you play to open my server.

i ment *That there is an Iron block..........
So i have known the ships plugins for years and i went to the next level and built a huge plane and i have a lot of difficulties building it.Its probably 5 blocks wide and 200 blocks long and when i add the wings it will probably be 200 blocks wide.So when i test it it says 1) That there an iron block in the way (the whole plane is made of iron blocks) 2)It needs more iron blocks (the whole plane is made of iron blocks!!!!!!!!!!!) 3)That it isnt in the air (when it is like 2 blocks away from the grownd)
i built an road for the decoration of the place and it is 7 blocks wide with redstone torches around it (like an usual airport) and i dont know if its effecting it...

5.1.0.0 is API only. Its for developers, so they can get there plugins working on the latest version of Ships before that version truly comes out. I have removed it fron the bukkit page to stop further confusion

It will always be the first format. Is there any errors when you boot the server? And what version of ships are you using?
