I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
Name | ID | Description |

Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Thanks for adding buttons! Now cannons can be built and used on ships/airships using the cannon mod!!
Ships 2.1 fixed the freezing issues with moving and turning. One more issue is still unfixed which is that items in the chests fall out when moving.

it did say on To Do that there is a problem with The portability of the chest, so it is already there
hey add to your to do list!!! ther is an issue with moving the ship... when the ship itself is moved and there is a chest with something in it, the chest automatically deletes all of the inserted items!!! just an issue that i am having on the server i help run!!! thanks!!!

i had the same problem, it seems that wool burns, but wood will not with jungle wood, i hope that it is fixed!

I know. It makes Iron blocks via automated assembly. Same goes for reinforced glass, stone, and concrete. Condensers and collectors are awesome with that. :)
Can you post a quick update or PM me a download with the stone buttons added?
BTW how can you make an Iron plant? Iron is not "creatable" resourse.
For us, iron is really easy to get. We play on survival, but we have enough people and compitition to create companies, cities, etc. this picture is just some empty space we cleared. The big city and iron/steel plants are behind where I took it.

i've said it before and i'll say it again: the ship burning means that it's much more difficult to make a good-looking airship that doesn't burn. I like the challenge. Just like Jacob_vejvoda said, If you don't like that, set fire spread to off with WorldGuard or any number of plugins out there.
People are asking for stone buttons, but what i'd really like to see is a completely configurable blocks list. both Movecraft and Autocraft have this; it would really benefit you to implement this feature. Also the ability to create different shiptypes with different properties; for example a ship that has less blocks but goes slower, or an airship that only requires 50% wool but flies not as fast. look into the .txt files that come with movecraft; using those you can create new shiptypes based off of a whole bunch of different properties. it's extremely convenient.
I play on a servival server, Iron is a little hard to get... We use oak wood and fences with wool, then it burns. I tried jungle wood with fences and wool and it also buned.
I just disabled fire spread on our server and we can play fine.
BTW can you post a quick update or PM me a download with the stone buttons added?

I just put iron between the two myself..
So it wont bun only withing 1 block of the jungle wood? I have a wool ballon attached to my airship and it burns, how to fix this?

I just made a small 10x5 ship to test. It works going forward, but when you click on the wheel to turn, it will delete all of the boat besides the block you are standing on. I don't know why. but this may help you for your new update, maybe not. dunno.

Very strange and a little scary.
I have not tested version 2.0.1 the new bukkit and do not know what can cause errors, hold on 1-2 days, the new version is almost ready now.

id 134 is a monitor, and there isn't spruce wood stairs. Strange.
