I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
Name | ID | Description |
---|---|---|
Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

cant wait. two main features im really hoping you include are: configurable blocks and more that one EOT ratio/speed.

For the cannons idea I just used the cannons plugin, but It would be great if you consolidated those 2 into 1, make it easier on the servers.

Hi, I'm sorry that I did not work on the project. I changed jobs and am very busy. Over the weekend I will try to push the project forward. Do not log on often but I know that I often comment on the project come to my notice in the mail. Be activated a new server now and will be 100% on the Ships in the new version, so you will see her.

It's not inactive... the author just doesn't post in the comments unless he has something to say about the project's development. It's still being worked on, i'm pretty sure.

why would it be inactive?
please ignore my comment that stated a problem that i was having, we fixed it. However, could you add a .yml file that we can use to blacklist/whitelist certain blocks so that some of the blocks that would be useful but not able to be used can be used?

How do they do that? When I put chests with items in the ship, they fall out when it moves.
Hey, im a big fan of this plugin, but ive noticed a bug. Try flying a ship under level 0 and it floods with water. From 1.3-1.4.7 its been there and never been a problem until we started to make underground airbases. It's not my computer or the map, please try to find out why this occurs with the ships and try to fix it thx.

Also, im the owner of eldercrest, mind changing the name from eldercrest to evolvecraft in the servers list, changed names.

Only issue im having with the plugin with the newest version is the fuel sign isnt working.

yeah I know but worth a suggestion at least, and is somewhat why I suggested Landships at the end lol, something like This, which would fit the description of a Landship, and has the added benifit of allowing other land based craft.
we are having a problem with the fuel. Basically we can't put coal into the cualdron. we have the sign, we are right clicking on the sign but no coal goes into it please help
you need to fix the door, the chest, the furnace and please make it so i can use a bed im making a captains quarters and a bed would be nice. i really enjoy this plugin and please dont think of me as just an annoying person demanding to have stuff added. The server that i play on with this plugin on it is: mc.xplorr.us i am mrepic13

Considering the title, and the long "tradition", you might say, of having exclusively ships, I think that Qx2 will probably prefer to stick to airships and ships; however, it is a great idea.
