Plugin for managing Kingdoms and Settlements. Do protections with Stronghold..
Establish some buildings. Then create a settlement . Support the settlers with money and Resources. The settlement will grow and produce their supply. The settlers will love you, gain the reputation. Trade with other Settlements and make some money.
Build up some military units to defend the settlement against the raiders. Create more settlements and be a noble. Rank up and be the king of a realm.
That's the way of Realms.
This is a Beta Version !! basic documentation in the in English.
Features

The individual objects serve the following purpose
- The player is allowed to build buildings that give good protection against other players and their actions and protect their own possession
- The player is allowed to establish settlements, consisting of buildings that he built and inhabited by NPC. The NPC lead a life of their own in the settlements and pursue partially own Tasks.
- The player is allowed feudal structures to form and it to give rise to empires. Here he has with other players cooperate (cooperation) or fight (confrontation)
- The balance between cooperation and Konfronation is a political system that is based on a feudal structure. The player can thus form alliances or wage wars. As his pleasure. This act the NPC as an executive body, which has a certain momentum and follows its own rules.
- The settlements produce goods and consume goods. They trade to compensate for their own shortcomings and have a Tendez to collect money. They form a closed economic system. All goods are produced and consumed by the players or the NPC.

Based on the ideas of Dominion from Pico52 i created this plugin.
Based on experience with HeroStronghold.

There are help available ingame :
- /realms VERSION , for version and overall statistic
- /realms HELP , for admin and global information like building blueprint etc.
- /settle HELP , for managing your settlement
- /colonist HELP , for admin to create settlements with automatic
- /regiment HELP , for manage your regiments
- /owner HELP , for see your achievments and techlevel and for admins to manage the player

Permissions
The plugin has only a few permissions. The permissions are mostly not necessary because the commands check for the owner of a settlement.
- realms.admin give the admin commands without a op
- realms.user give the commands to normal users

Installation
The installation is not simple. You install the required plugins and then this plugin.
Update checking
The update checking function can be set as an option in the configfile
- updatecheck: true/false This function only send a message to the console, when a newer version is in download available.
The autoupdate is not availbe and the option in the configfile has no function
- autoupdate: false This function is only available because its a requirement for bukkit plugins. I not plan to realize an autoupdate for this plugin.

I was wondering if it was possible to make it so that players could only build up a town to the rank before the largest, that way those of us who would use it could possibly make a kingdom like feel to it? If so, would it be possible to make sub-towns of kingdoms once they are released that way we could implement taxes? That would also help with getting a "kingdom" feel for a server, using this plugin.

hello. the colonist only build a HAMLET (settlement). After that there is no automatic or self contained upgrade for the setllement. The player must help the settlement for growing up.
All objects can be build by hand from the player:
The automatic evolution of settlements is a option of phase3 and many steps away in a future update.
The concept of the plugin is very hard to show in a video, because many objective based on command or text. You can show the player interaction or player interface of an existing settlement. But how will you show the trading, production- or techtree . The requirements of a building or settlement. There is no linear way to reach a goal. The player is free to go many ways.
After release the 0.9.5 update i plan to make more documentation and i think some more videos will a part of this. I imagine of short video for one or two aspects of the plugin. Beginning with simple action like build a home or wheatfiled up to create a settlement. But at this time my attention is on basic function programming.
I think you can only make a lesson video when you understanding the plugin concept and plugin mechanics. There is a testserver to learn this. Send me an pm when you will online and i teach you the basics.

So, I have a question. When you make a colonist start building a civ, do they ever stop? Or do they build up to a kingdom? If they build up to a kingdom, is there a way to disable that? Are you able to build a kingdom by hand, and just populate it with citizens and have that work? Or does the entire KD/Civ. have to be made by the colonist?
As a recommendation, I would do a video tutorial for the plugin once it's in the final stages of BETA so that others like me who find this plugin intrequing, yet confusing at the same time, would be able to understand the plugin better along with all of the little components.

The update has basic test ready. The raider/regiment find new targets and buildup the camp by their self :)

Regiment can be created by the admin. This regiment(s) is a raider ! There are 10 MILITIA in a raider regiment. They travel around from settlement to settlement and do this action:
npc and units action
the battle / raid is at the moment not visible.
The different unit types have different attack strength. But generally a mix from archer and militia is a good defense value.
On a raid the npc dont fight to death. So after a raid the units regenerate and be available.

Known issues
Hello, i would like to ask where can i find a working Herostronghold since it's spamming errors for me on 1.8.1 Spigot and without it Realms doesn't load in. Maybe you could make Herostronghold optional if it's only used for protections.

Yes , i think, the settlement building requires realms achievment.
But in the moment the settlement/stronghold can not be conquer. First the units must go ready and then the regiments to make a raid.
Unit work in progress and the first unit npc standing still in a settlement. :)
The main resource for conquer a settlement/stronghold is power, that can be bring down with TNT explosion. I tested that, its fine, but the game mechanic not activated at the moment.
You can try HeroStronghold that has superregions like settlement/stronghold etc.
Hi, I'd like to create some kind of Neutral towns/castles/strongholds and players would have to conquer them, to gain control over it. Once they control it, other clan/faction would have to fight them to gain dominance over that stronghold. I only want to set some specific strongholds and do not allow players to create their own. Is this possible with this plugin?

The update bring individual npc to the settlement. Each has his own name and a indivdual lifecycle.
They are realzied with Citizens as a own trait.
At the moment the npc a little bit stupid. But they live

Now the work begins for the NPC in Realms. Give the settlements more live and realistic.

The npc spawn in the city and make some individual action based on the NPCType and UnitType. The Npc are only active , when a player is nearby. The breeding of settler will change dramatically do to gender and growup of child to settler.
The plugin Citizen2 is required for this option. The NpcTypes are traits of Citizen.
