Townships
If you want players to be able to build outside of regions, then remove EffectWilderness.jar
I renamed HeroStronghold to Townships. It has a lot more features, so I'll be updating this page over time. For now, use the sample configs that come with the plugin as an example.
Townships is the best Town plugin out there because you can require players to have houses, forges, farms, inns, hospitals, etc before they can create a town!
If you dont think minecraft is addicting enough, what about minecraft tycoon? What if you could make structures that cost money, but give you items/money over time? That's exactly what this plugin does! I imagined using this plugin as a way to reward players for building certain strutures/shrines, but it has evolved so that you can configure it to include any structure/town you want!
For instance, if a player builds a bank using certain blocks (defined in your config.yml) and has enough money, that player can type /to create bank and it will turn the bank into a Townships that, if provided the correct raw materials (paper and gold for example), can give you a steady income! The possibilities are limitless because you define the types of structures players can create in regions.yml.
Also introducing Super-Regions! Basically, super-regions are regions that require regions instead of blocks. This way you can make a super-region called Town that requires regions such as Houses, Inns, Taverns, Farms, etc. Super-regions come with their own banks, chat channels, per-user permissions, taxes, and power.
Also, this plugin hooks into Heroes so you can grant buffs and debuffs to players near your structure. For example you can build a LightningRod that grants your Heroes class name LightningMage a passive health regen buff. Work in progress Effects List.

- Allows permitted players to create Townships using certain blocks/money defined in config.yml
- Townships grant money/items during every cycle (cycle length defined in config.yml)
- Townships cost items/money to maintain during every cycle
- Townships can be destroyed (and even explode!) if key blocks are broken
- Townships can also grant nearby Heroes passive buffs/debuffs
- Townships can also grant build protection
- Effect List work in progress
- Super-regions which require other regions instead of blocks. So you could create a super-Townships called "Town", which requires Townships like "Inn", "Farm", a few "House", etc.
- Banks for super-regions
- Separate chat channels for each super-region
- Taxes for super-regions
- Power for super-regions (if a member dies, then their super-regions lose 1 power each. If a super-region reaches 0 power, then it is destroyed).

- Limit the number of regions players can build with groups.yml
- Biome specific regions

I put in a potential fix, but I'm still not sure what's causing the issue.
A quick question: Under "Features", you have listed:
However, when I created a region, then broke several of the key blocks, nothing happened. I have my config set to "explode-on-destroy", but there still is nothing happening. Is this a bug?
Did you ever fix the issue with Powershield not blocking explosions?

What happened to the server?
A quick request for the upcoming update(sorry if this is a bit last minute).
Is it possible to allow the player to specify custom metadata for items generated as input/output? For example, putting a block with lore in as input, and receiving a block with a custom name and lore as output? Would this be possible? It would sure be helpful for my server.

Thank you very much! I'd also like to suggest adding a way to add people to buildings/regions instead of just the owner. Even as the village owner I wasn't able to access another player's farm in my village nor was that person able to let anyone else access it. If there is a way to add people to a region like this then I'd like to know. I've tried everything.

My server's too big for me to just give myself ownership of a town every time one is made. Even then I still wouldn't be able to go through homes. The permission node says "lets you bypass herostronghold ownership checks " so surely with it I should be able to open chests and doors. I need to be able to check if someone's been griefed or stolen from and I can't do that if I can't even enter their own home.

this is corect, the protection also protect against admin.
solution: as u are op u can give u the membership or ownership of the region or superregion
I gave all my moderators and I the "herostronghold.admin" permission but we're still not able to bypass ownership restrictions. I can't open chests or anything in their strongholds.
ok my biggest question/ annoyance is how the heck do i leave a hero-stronghold after joining one? i cant find that info anywhere
I'm still having difficulty getting PowerShield to work on the latest version. What is the proper procedure to get it to run? Neither "powershield" nor "powershieldnoreagent" prevented explosions from occuring.

You have to configure the plugin so it knows what regions you want. See the installation page.
Is this plugin going to be ready for the whole "UUID" nonsense they're going to be doing in 1.8?
ok, some of the stuff talked about here does not show up /hs list or /hs info.such as bank. is this something I need to create manually?

That is caused when you do /hs reload (which is broken at the moment). Please don't use that command until I can get it fixed. For now, if you want to reload HeroStronghold, you can use the plugman plugin or something similar. To fix the chat spam simply restart the server or reload HeroStronghold.
Also, using groups.yml does not limit how many of each region can be built in a super region. It only limits how many of that region a player can build total. Multiple players could build arrowturrets in your village. I'll see what I can do because I like this idea.

I found where to restrict which super-regions the regions can be built in, will tinker with it later and see if i can work out the tiered ascension i'm looking for.
