Is Multiverse missing that little something that you need?
Hop on our Discord and tell us that you'd like to fork us and add a feature! You can of course do this without consulting us, but we cannot accept pull requests that will break Multiverse for the rest of our users! Don't go write your own World Management plugin, join the team and submit a pull request.
Before making a review:
Please do not use the review comments below as a way to seek help, report bugs or suggest features. Utilize the Multiverse wiki. A lot of documentation for each plugin is there. If you still need help:
Well, actually my question was to know how you have dynmap create maps: do you ask it to create a particular map or do you just say: there is a new world, deal with it dynmap? I wondered that because here is what I get:
. creating a normal world in MV adds HD map + underground map.
. creating a skyworlds world in MV adds a flatmap only.
After some looking into it, I think I get it. I guess your plugin asks dynmap to load the maps that are defined in the config of their plugin, and doesn't ask to load a map in particular. That's why we had different results, based on different world types. Thanks for your help anyway!

Banana Space has issues with this since 1.8, 2011-09-25 21:28:29 [INFO] This server is running Craftbukkit version git-Bukkit-0.0.0-1067-g6301507-b1185jnks (MC: 1.8.1) 2011-09-25 21:28:32 [INFO] [Multiverse-Core] - Version 2.0-b265 Enabled - By Rigby and fernferret
and this is when I try using it to generate in game.
@BadDogNoBiscuits
We use dynmap, but I've never played around with the HD settings. This is a question for the dynmap developers.
@Phonix420
Make sure you have build 256+. You can find your build number by typing:
/mv version -p
And the build number will be in the version: Multiverse-Core v2.0-bXXX where XXX is the build number.
@rcth
Yep, There's a beta release (265) and I want to promote 271 as the new offical "release" of MV2 for 1.8, but I haven't gotten any feedback (good or bad) from any testers :( so right now it's a waiting game. But feel free to grab the dev builds (again, 271 is our current AB cantidate) from ci.onarandombox.com

mvm set mode creative/survival
Hi there! We have your great plugin installed on our server. It's working really nicely.
I have a question though: we created another world recently, a skyland one. Is it normal that the dynmap compatibility created only an "old-school" map, and not a HD one like it did for our other worlds? Is it checking what we previously chose for other skylands maps (if it's the case, since we haven't ever created one before, that might explain why). Indeed, it chose to create the same maps that we chose for our normal worlds.
Thanks a lot!
Been looking everywhere. When I try to set the mode of one of my worlds to creative it says: "Sorry, can't SET mode. Please visit our Github Wiki for more information: http://goo.gl/l54PH"
I've tried as an op in the world and from the console with "mvm set mode creative world" to no avail.
I didn't know where I could find support, sorry.
Is this #1185?
"Set the mode per world (creative or survival) [This feature is available in Builds 256+]"
Where can I find this Feature ? I really need this for my Survival / Creative Server.
Backups for multiverse worlds?
not sure if im having the same problem as thoask and waxdt. Either way im using PEX and when i have the opfallback: true everything worked great. I recently started a new Creative world, which i want restricted access to i set opfallback: false and added - multiverse.access.world2 - multiverse.access.world3 to my default group giving them access to those worlds. and i added - multiverse.access.world1 or - multiverse.access.* to my members group so they can get to the creative world, however non of my portals work for normal users. If i give my members - multiverse.* everything works fine...also with multiverse.teleport.self.* doesn't work but multiverse.teleport.* works.. i dont want them to be able to tele other people just themselves..again not sure if this is a issue with Multiverse or permissions...any help would be greatly appreacited.
Thanks for this awesome plugin.
Nice to hear that this shortly will be compatibel with bpermissions and like. (What an API is I dont know, but I guess they will uppdate theyr permissions pretty soon) Ty for the reply :D
@MartN00
Read the FAQ:https://github.com/Herocraft/Multiverse-Core/wiki/FAQ#wiki-inv
@thoask
@waxdt
This is a confusion caused by me supporting legacy permissions, I will be droping support very shortly for this to make all of our lives simpler.
This will mean you CANNOT use Permissions 3 OR any Bridge. Yell at those devs to update their plugins if they're not using the new API.
@thoask
I also experience this its absolutely annoying like hell!
I have spent 5hours today trying to get bpermissions to work with multiverse-core. I added "opfallback: false" to multiverse-core config. I added " - multiverse.*" to my group in the bpermission config. But I cannot use any of the multiverse commands. I use bukkit #1185, MV build 265 and bperm 2.6.7 (no other plugins) If I set "opfallback: true" and add myself as OP, everything works. But I like to use MV with bpermissions so I can give each group of players different permissions. I do also have about 30 other plugins that I use, and all of them works perfect with bpermissions, but as I sayed, I didnt get MV to work even without all the additional plugins. I hope I have provided enough information, have a nice day.
hey, we would run 2 worls, creative and survival. but how can we block the inventar in the creative world? the user try to "cheat" items for the survival world :(
@Massimo1993
They definetly do. Tested on many different servers. They are rarer now, but yell at Notch, not me.
