MCTowns
MCTowns is a powerful way to manage towns.
- Create Towns, assign them Territories, and let mayors divide them up into Plots on their own.
- WorldEdit backend means you can use WorldEdit CUI and all of your favorite WorldEdit commands to create regions of any size and shape
- WorldGuard backend means lightning-fast performance and rock-solid stability
- Mayors can restrict town membership to only people they invite, or open it up to anyone who can afford a plot
- Saves you time and reduces the workload on your moderators!
- Mayors can manage regions within Territories that have been assigned to them
- No need to ask a mod every time someone wants to join your town, or you need a new plot created.

Metrics Collection
MCTowns tracks some stats about who uses it. They're primarily for me to feel good about myself when I see people are actually using what I make, or (in the case of bug reports) are so that I can improve the plugin so that I can continue to feel good about myself when I see people are using the plugin.
MCTowns uses MCStats. To learn what is collected and how to opt-out of collection, see the following official MCStats page:
http://mcstats.org/learn-more/
Note that as of v2.1.0, most bugs will be automatically reported for you. See the page on Automatic Bug Reporting for more information.

Can you open a ticket about these two issues? Make sure to say which version you're using.
I have a question it could be stubit but i will ask it
On my server i have done some region for city and regions for house in city. I wonder if a mayor of a town with cityRegion can make a plot on the already create housesXXRegion.
More over we have SRM (Simple Region Market) for buying region for user. Is there a mismatch between MCTown buy way (i don't understand it) and SRM way ?
Ho before the end you seems to have made a realy great job for this plugin. It's realy usefull i think.
For some reason, my players are complaining they cant join towns, they said when the mayors send them requests, they are unable to accept it.
and possibly add multi world support? In other worlds, towns are still said to be at same the location
v2.2.0 is released. File approval seems to be taking a little longer than usual, though. You can still download it manually by checking the file listing.

@Epic_Weasel
What do you mean that it says it "wasn't installed"?
Try following the simple steps in the Installation Guide, and post back here if you need more help.
This plugin looks really cool! But I have a problem. When I install the plugin, it says that it wasn't installed :/
Can anybody help me?
Just posted Beta #2 of v2.2.0.
Head on over to the file listing to read what's new and to give it a go.
@LegendTrapper Update to Java 7.

I completely re-worked how the town banks work. The currency part is still the same, but now if you type /town bank deposit, it'll pull open a chest interface- a "deposit box". You put your items in that, and when you close it, it'll deposit them all into your active town's bank.
If you're the mayor, and you run /town bank check or /town bank withdraw, it'll open the actual bank (not a deposit box), and you can move things in or out to your liking.
This is tremendously better than the buggy old banks, which had a slew of problems. This works really nicely and is much easier to use. (And if you can't tell, I'm quite pleased with the results!)
@Everdras
NVM, I fixed it.. It was an error with Worldguard.. needed to update to the latest version. Great Plugin! If you need any help in designing a new set of commands or designing a remote access client, let me know!

Little update:
So, I pushed the v2.2.0 beta out late last week, and it's seen about 150 downloads, which is great. It should be really stable, as all the big development work has gone into the remote admin client this release.
However, it's currently only the remote admin client that's holding back the release now, as I've begun to heavily second-guess some design decisions with how the network communication is done, and I have to do some small rewrites of how the remote client saves things on disk.
So, I'm going to see what I can do, but I don't want to let this hold back some of the (non-critical) bug fixes and performance tweaks that are sitting 'locked up' in the beta right now.
So, I may release 2.2.0 shortly with the remote admin client hard-coded to be disabled. With luck, I'll be able to get the client finished and push out v2.2.1 quickly, which would include the remote client.
In other news, I'm working on hosting both a Maven repo for the project, and the MCTowns JavaDocs. This will also be accompanied by a programmer's guide, which will hopefully make the plugin a little more appealing for people to contribute code and patches to. This will have to wait until after I get moved into my new apartment though, as I'll be hosting the web server out of my home.

Hey, when I invite a player to a town it says that the syntax is wrong, but i type /town add (player)

Could you open a bug report with the button above? Describe your issue and give reproduction steps. Also, paste the output of "/region info <region name>".
