What is MassiveCore?
MassiveCore is a Bukkit plugin that contains components the MassiveCraft developers use for developing other Bukkit plugins:
- ItemStack and Inventory serialization
- Commands
- Plugin Integration
- Data storage with JSON
- Disc IO
- … and much more …
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
Plugins Using MassiveCore
Internet Connections
MassiveCore sends anonymous usage statistics to bstats.org when your server starts and downloads the latest sponsor configuration file from massivecraft.com hourly. You can disable these internet connections by setting "metricsEnabled" and "sponsorEnabled" to false at the very bottom of the main configuration file.

Error Whats Doees net.minecraft.server.v1_5_R3.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:573)
Is there any way to disable all the things that are not required for Factions to run...? I really don't want anything to do with USYS as I am quite satisfied with Multiverse. :/ Ooh, and is there a way to make it store data in a subfolder of the plugins folder instead of the server root?
@Cayorion
An issue I noticed with mcore;
I am unable to edit mcore_conf/instance.json. I am trying to remove the 10 second delay. I have tried deleting all context in the file and replacing 10 with 0. I have tried both while the server is online and while it is down, offline. However, to no avail, it regenerates the config back to default settings.
@Cayorion, Thanks for the hint, turns out in OS X, when you install Java 7, it does not become the default. The apple provided java come first in the path evaluation so it never saw it. I just changed my start.command to point directly at the installed version and now it worked just perfect!
Hi
keep getting this in my start log, not sure if causes a dependancy problem but rather not have warnings on start up, please advise.
[WARNING] [ProtocolLib] [PacketFilterManager] mcore doesn't depend on ProtocolLib. Check that its plugin.yml has a 'depend' directive.
@mkopel
Nope sorry. Whatever jre/jdk you are using are not supporting java code compiled for version 1.7. Recheck, the fault is on your side.
will MCore 4.6.1 solve this issue?
10:21:07 [SEVERE] Could not load 'plugins/mcore.jar' in folder 'plugins' org.bukkit.plugin.InvalidPluginException: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/massivecraft/mcore/MCore : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0
I am running Java 7 update 25, on OS X 10.8.4 , with this version of the server: 00:03:40 [INFO] This server is running CraftBukkit version git-Bukkit-1.5.2-R1.0-b2788jnks (MC: 1.5.2) (Implementing API version 1.5.2-R1.0)
thanks!
MCore 6.4.1 is now pending approval.
@hmkyriacou
Do you have Java 7?
I was trying to install and i got this error.. Unsupported major.minor version 51.0 does anyone know wat this error is and how to fix it? thx
@yongyunjing U can try downloading version 6.4.1 which fixed those warnings from here: Link Removed: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qfjcnuw6s6475an/mcore.jar and try that.
HELP!!!!!!!
Even after i got Java 7 and the lastest mcore 6.3.0, it still gives me the [SEVERE] warning.
Why is this?
@DrkMatr1984
Oh, and I compiled it on 64 bit. Not sure if that matters... If you want 32 bit you can download Gradle here :
http://www.gradle.org/downloads Instructions are on the website for how to install. Then just download this .zip Link Removed: http://www.mediafire.com/download/kk2ak5q6allvxh9/mcore.zip And make the makemcore.sh file executable and run it. For windows, you'll have to do something similar but the same gradle config will work for it.
Hey guys... I compiled version 6.4.1 from source and uploaded it to here
Link Removed: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qfjcnuw6s6475an/mcore.jar
I compiled it with java version "1.7.0_25" So you may need to update your Java.
It fixes the Vault errors, Like Cayorian says. Hope this helps you guys.
@Cayorion
THANK YOU VERRRRRRRRYYYY MUUUUUCHHH!!!!!
