What is the exact permission node just hoverpad?
@sexysteve865
Yup, just 'hoverpad'
Tested this on the latest dev-build (#2117). Works like a charm; you can even run and it keeps following. I also tested it with the new planks. As long, as you use the same type of wood for the whole pad. Though it converts them all to the default colour, once you move. However, mixed wool colours work and remain as they are. Sweet plug-in! <3
ps: Integrating the redstone lamp was just brilliant! ^_^
@Antalor
Interesting, I wasn't aware of different wood colors being introduced. Next version will leave the wood colors as they are. :)
I would like to suggest that you add the ability for it to auto descend after the power is turned off and also when there are no players on it to prevent ppl from spamming little pads all over the sky. Also that would make it act like an elevator and maybe you could make a variant of the pad that auto ascends to make it more elevator like :)
@GrimblyGorn
I would like to add this, but I'm not sure yet how many complications it would add. No promises. :)
i think you should be able to add blocks on top so you can make it like a hotair ballon or just put a fence around so people dont fall off
AWESOME PLUGIN I LOVE IT but how do i make it so all users can make hoverpads?
I love it been using the machinadrill as a Grader
this is so awesome
thanks
I have build it, I am op, given the perms, done all nocheat by pass, and it does nothing
@hunterboerner
Any permission error given? Is the HoverPad plugin loaded? Did you make sure to use a redstone lamp and not a glowstone block? Those are all the ideas I have I'm afraid.
I have done of that all correctly (i have all the permissions and I have op bypass) not sure. But factory is fine so I'm ok.
is there a way to make it so even defaults an use it
@UziTryhard
If your server uses a permissions plugin then you can give players the 'hoverpad' permission.
If you don't have a permissions plugin, you can add the contents of the plugin's included permissions.yml to your server's permissions.yml. That will give all players access to MachinaCraft's machines.
where do you download it? i ant find the link
@wbcmac200
Go here. :)
nvm i found it
I love the hoverpad but, ever since the 1.3.1 update, I find myself frequently falling off of it while moving horizontally. I'm guessing that lag spikes (which are proving to be much more frequent on my server with the new CraftBukkit) disrupt the connection between my movement and the hovepad, causing me to just run off the edge.
I'm not sure anything can be done about this problem on the plugin side, of course. I probably just need to address my lag issues, somehow.
@MattSheridan
More frequent updates or a bigger hoverpad could compensate somewhat for the lag but at this point I'm very hesitant to do either. It would have serious consequences for server CPU usage, especially when more than one person is using a hoverpad.
@Lyneira
MachinaCraft 4.1.6 is uploaded, once it's approved you'll find an option in the new config.yml to set the update delay for the Hoverpad. Delete or move your old config.yml to generate a new one on server start. Be warned though, setting a lower delay will increase CPU usage when a pad is active.
