Auto-updater
This plugin has a built-in auto-updater, which connects to BukkitDev to check for updates. If you, for some reason, wish to disable this process, you can do so by setting 'version-check' to false in plugin configuration file.

Hi,
We are using this mod on our server but there is one problem we are having that I can't seem to find a fix for. IslandWorld's build protection blocks fake players from working. I found that if we used /islandev add OwnerUN [Fake-Player] it would fix the problem but then we could not add that fake player to other islands even after shutting of strict-party. Also OPping the fake-players does not allow them to bypass the protection. Is there anything we could do to fix this?
Has anyone found a way to either fix Mod Fake Players on islands or disable the build protection of this plugin all together to only use it's other features?

Its global. Its been consistent for the last few weeks since 1.9. I'll update IW today and tell you if it consists. Never seen it before but we just changed the reward type from ingots to dirt but i cant imagine that would make a difference. I'll let you know if it stops

Its NullPointer in exnihilo, so you should report it there.

Getting back to this issue as it seems to occur on a newly set up server: I have found the cause of the islands not getting deleted and wrongly being registered as free, along with why the cuboid isn't completely emptied on /is create.
Placing an Ex Nihilo Crucible at either Y<64 or Y>66 will cause the deletion progress to STOP wherever it is when you run /is delete and throw an error. The same error will show up when you run /is create and end up getting assigned the previously incompletely deleted island. Only fix for this issue right now is to use /islandev removeblock <Player> <ID> (in this case 1485) or manually remove it by breaking it.
The issue can and has been recreated on our servers multiple times.

I have a problem where this plugin overrides essentials respawn when someone dies in the Island world. This continues to happen when essentials respawn priority is set to highest. I've also played around with the plugins settings and it is not much of help...

Still happening what info would you like I took screen shots but i dont know what that would help.
Using this plugin for 3 years .. never have i seen this. Challenges seem to change their reward on their own .. we reward dirt. Started at 8 then dropped to 7 then dropped to 2. Rebooting the server fixed the issue took it back to 8. Triple checked the xml its set to 8 and oddly the /challenges list changes as it decided to drop.
Thoughts?

Since you are using dev command to create island it needs
islandworld.islandev.create.name
permission.
Can you add translations to strings in IslandDev.java? eg. here:
Is there a specific permission for the following command: /islandev create <schematic> <PlayerName> [pos]
islandworld.island.create and islandworld.create.normal are not sufficient.
Using the command with those permissions shows the following error: You don't have permission to use that schematic (normal)

Some players have reported me that with flag use visitors can destroy minicarts.

on every island create cuboid is deleted so old buildings (if any) are removed. home location is set when plugin paste new island, so it can take some time. When island is pasted player is teleported to island spawn point. If not, check console probably there is some error while island is pasted.
In last version islands are sliced and deleted part after part to avoid lag so it can take some time to delete whole island. But same thing - if island is not deleted by purge or by delete command check server console or logs for error messages.

This is still happening quite often for us. When flying around the map, I notice a lot of abandoned islands that no longer have any owner. So if a new player joins the server and creates a new island (/is create) and then tries to TP to it using /is home, they sometimes get an error that tells them "No home location set" or something close to that. Using /islandev tp USER allows me to teleport to their "newly created" island which in that case always turns out to be an old, abandoned island. Only fix for that is to have them delete their island (which they cannot do from Spawn) and create a new one until it finally works. This of course makes a lot of people leave instead of trying again, which is a problem.
When I run the purge command, I like to check the coordinates of the deleted island and teleport there and, unfortunately, they don't get removed most of the time.
Any idea on what's going on there? Manually deleting all those ghost islands using WorldEdit is pretty time consuming!
Can you maybe add moving block listeners like the liquid listeners you have? make flying machines that i like to stop when they try to leave the Island with it.
Gnacik, I told the players that they had seen on some server that can make a portal to nether, and there is the island of lava for each player since. In IslandWorld is there? And when you lay out the update with minor fixes when players can TP on the island, which is still pasting?

You have DynMap support enabled, but dynmap not installed.
