GemRunner
GemRunner
Important Note
This plugin was written for 1.7, at the moment 1.8 is not supported. To work on 1.8 I would have to completely remake the plugin, which I don't have time for right now. I may do it sometime in the future, but for now, it's only 1.7.
Introduction
GemRunner is a game where players run on a field of ores, trying to collect the most points. Ores disappear when you walk on them, and different ores have different point values. Although the idea may seem simple, it is a great and fun game to play.
How to Play
Once there is enough players to start a game, a timer counts down, and you get 5 seconds to spread out before the game starts. Once the game starts, you run around the ores, trying to collect points. When you walk on an ore, it will disappear, and different ores are worth different amounts of points. The game ends when there is only one player left, or there is no more ores in the arena. Once all the ores have been taken, an arena has the option to enter PvP mode, where blocks will fill the space where ores used to be, and players fight to win. If PvP mode is disabled on an arena, the game will end as soon as all ores are gone or one player is left standing.

Versions
- Since this plugin is new, there may be some minor bugs, if you could please tell me about any bugs, I will try to have them fixed as soon as possible.
@calebci
Have you tried giving them permission manually? That might fix your problem.
@calebci
I think the problem is that you are using 1.8, this plugin was made for 1.7 and because of the code changes 1.8 is not supported. If I ever wanted to make it for 1.8 I would have to remake it from the beginning.
@567legodude
I honestly think you should add BattleArena support.
As for prizes, add vault support so users will be paid money for each ore they step on! :)
Help!! Ive given my user the permission above, but they can not do /gr join! there are no errors in the console, please help?!
Notes: I am using PermissionsEX and they can not even join with a sign! (I have given them sign permissions)
@fr233
You are supposed to build the map yourself, as long as there is ores then it should work.
can you please provide a map ? :D
1 feature, Can you make it so players don't lose hunger in a game, And when all the players leave the arena the plugin bugs out and the arena cant be closed again, says internal error thanks
@Redstone_Pro_73
I don't think that really represents the idea of gemrunner. It's good, but really its just a green diamond on a background. Sorry about that.
Suggestion: Add a force start! :D
@thief001
Battlearena is made to be built off of. If I was going to implement that, I need to start with that and make the plugin off of that.
I think for the prizes I am just going to make it so there is a config for prizes. You just tell it the command that you want to run on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners. And there would be another command for everyone else that participated. You can just put in the command to give a rank.
hi,
no, im not a plugin developer.
im just asking if its possible that you could make it in a way, that GemRunner can give the ranks of the players out in a way that works together with battlearena/battletracker, so i can use their rankmaking system.

@567legodude
Thanks :D
@thief001
Im not sure what you mean by hook into battlearena. If you are a plugin developer, I could add the ability to hook into my plugin, then you can do whatever you want with each winner.
@BashyDaBest
Ill add a timer. Ill put it on the list.
Could you put a timer so the points aren't useless? Or do you already have that?
hi, i like the idea of this plugin :)
if i get it right, i can run multible arenas within the same world, right? it also works with multiverse?
and for your future plans: ([ ] - Run a command on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. And run a command on anyone else who participated.)
any chance to hook somehow in to battlearena, as i allready run that for various arenas? so i can use the same setup for ranklists?
@JimiRebeld
That error has been fixed in version 1.6

@567legodude
Alright.. I'll PM you the list of plugins I have.
@BashyDaBest
The problem could possibly be that there are other plugins you have that are interfering with this one. What other plugins do you have?
