GemRunner
GemRunner
Important Note
This plugin was written for 1.7, at the moment 1.8 is not supported. To work on 1.8 I would have to completely remake the plugin, which I don't have time for right now. I may do it sometime in the future, but for now, it's only 1.7.
Introduction
GemRunner is a game where players run on a field of ores, trying to collect the most points. Ores disappear when you walk on them, and different ores have different point values. Although the idea may seem simple, it is a great and fun game to play.
How to Play
Once there is enough players to start a game, a timer counts down, and you get 5 seconds to spread out before the game starts. Once the game starts, you run around the ores, trying to collect points. When you walk on an ore, it will disappear, and different ores are worth different amounts of points. The game ends when there is only one player left, or there is no more ores in the arena. Once all the ores have been taken, an arena has the option to enter PvP mode, where blocks will fill the space where ores used to be, and players fight to win. If PvP mode is disabled on an arena, the game will end as soon as all ores are gone or one player is left standing.

Versions
- Since this plugin is new, there may be some minor bugs, if you could please tell me about any bugs, I will try to have them fixed as soon as possible.
@BashyDaBest
Then I can't tell what the problem is, because that is the exact same server that I used to test the plugin before posting it. I think that the plugin was not installed correctly.
@567legodude
Bukkit and its on spigot for players 1.7-1.8
@BashyDaBest
It can only be that the plugin was not loaded right. What type of server is it on and what version?
For some reason, it gives me a internal server error whenever I type a command. Any Ideas?
@TheCoolGuy123_5_Minecraft_
When you set the arena spawn, it writes the location to the config. The arena has to be closed in order to set it.
This seems like it is only happening to you, can you link to a screenshot, or something that may help.
@567legodude
I set the lobby, but I have to set the arena spawn in the config manually?
@567legodude
Alright all of the bugs are fixed, but there are only two little ones:
1: When joining a game, its capital sensitive, like the arena is names "Game", you can't type in /gr join games, it must be capitalized.
2: When you are in a game, and you type to join the game you are in, it broadcasts that you joined, which people can abuse by spamming it. EXAMPLE: I'm in a game called Ores, I type /gr join Ores, it still broadcasts the player joined. ^^ Not sure if it's really a bug, but you don't really have to fix it.
P.S. Add a leave sign?
@TheCoolGuy123_5_Minecraft_
It's only going to say that if there is no spawn defined in the config. You also have to set a lobby for it to work.
It keeps telling me it has no spawn when i just set it, twice.
@BashyDaBest
Those usually happen on the very first load, try reloading he server and they should fix. For the joining while ingame, that may have been fixed in version 1.2. If it is still a problem, I will look to fixing it.
The reason you are getting an error is because it was trying to remove a scoreboard that didnt exist, but if you reload, then it should be fine after the first load.
So far I have found these bugs:
- The game won't start - I get a java error when I do /gr leave - You can't leave the game - You can join the game when you are in it still
This will be a popular plugin for sure! Going to test it out and I'll tell you if there are any bugs!
Nice!
