Getting Started
Installation |
---|
Bukkit is currently required.
- Install WorldEdit first. (DON'T FORGET THIS)
- Download CommandBook and install it the same way.
- Run your server once to generate the files.
- Edit plugins/CommandBook/config.yml to your liking.
- Restart the server for the settings to take effect.
You'll have to read the wiki (see below) to find the permissions you need.
Want more features, faster? We need some help with something!

I've got the same problem as Ganzor. My options:
god:
auto-enable: false
But when I've got god enabled, after relog, I've got still god mode.
EDIT
I need change the map after login to disable god mode.
I am having a problem where I installed CommandBook 2.0 and none of the commands are working at all. When the server restarts it generated a folder called Config with nothing in it and a Config.yml file without any text in it. I can't seem to find the problem any suggestions?
@GangstaHotdog
Thanks!
@Ganzor
There is an option in the CommandBook config for disabling auto-god. Disabling it worked for me and my admins, didn't have to mess with permissions.
I have given myself all commandbook permissions by putting only myself in a superadmin group and setting "commandbook.*" to true.
The problem I'm now having is I do not want to have to remember to /ungod myself on login. I do not want god mode. How can I fix this aside from having to set a ton of seperate permissions nodes?
Is /spawn going to be fixed, or should I look for other spawn plugins? Every time I set up /setspawn locations for multiple worlds, they reset to the default Minecraft spawn locations when the server reloads. I remember having this problem at least 6 months ago when I used CommandBook as well, which is part of the reason I left it at the time.
Anyway, everything else seems to work really well. I do like the new components system.
"Players in the cb-invincible group or with the commandbook.god.auto-enable permission will have their godmode enabled automatically on login"
How i disable this, i use PEX
@zml2008
Hi /cmdbook reload doesent work
And can you update all the commands in the wiki? since /cmdbook help doesent work to change pages.
@discoverdan
Spout is your problem here try disabling it and trying then.
MY FIX FOR KITS:
On my server we have different kits for different ranks. In the past, our permissionsex node for the specific level kit would be - commandbook.kit.kits.[kitname] and nothing else. With the update, NONE OF THE KITS WORKED, no matter what level (other than admin/op).
The fix? Just add the node - commandbook.kit to the nodelist. Problem solved. I guess the specific node required the base permission to work.
TL;DR: Add commandbook.kit to your permissions thing in addition to the specific kit name.
Is it possible to show prefixes and suffixes using commandbook's messaging component? I'm using bPerms if that helps.
When /god was with WorldGuard other plugins picked it up but since the move other plugins do not register player being in god mode. Is this explainable?
I'm having some issues getting it even started, help?
http://pastebin.com/mfAtC4vQ
I'm running CB-1.1-R4.
I have not seen an answer yet to this question regarding kits. I use PermissionsEx, and my users can no longer use any of the kits. I am having the same issue.
are the permissions changed for kits? And how can i disable console option in commandbook?
I have renamed my worldedit..it still doesnt work....now commandbook wont work
WTF is going?
errors are here: http://pastebin.com/JKXUSEv3
It also seems commandbook does not gen ANY config info. config is completely empty...folders files are there but they are all empty.
Ideas?!?!?
@zml2008
I am running Bukkit 1.1R3 and i tried renaming WorldEdit.jar and the problem is still there.
Oddly, if i just run Commandbook, WorldEdit and WorldGuard with these broken plugins. Then everything loads fine. But the moment i add everything else, then it doesnt load. It's odd that some combinations of plugins can load.
@TowelieDOH
Make sure you have a Bukkit version of at least 1.1-R3
@PAL18
You should try renaming your WorldEdit jar to any other name and making sure you have a bukkit version of at least 1.1-R3.
@linne000
The help component is disabled by default. You can enable it by following the instructions on http://wiki.sk89q.com/wiki/CommandBook/Components
Latest version doesnt load with IllegalAccessError: com/sk89q/util/yaml/YAMLProcessor when i have any of the following plugins installed:
SimpleReserve, SpamGuard, SpongeRestore, SpoutPlugin, SuperpermsBridge, TheMonkeyPack, VanishNoPacket, WirelessRedstone, WorldInventories, XrayInformer, xWarp
I figured out it was these plugins specifically by enabling every single of my plugins one by one and seeing if commandbook displays severe error
Oddly, previous versions worked fine so its not a question of the other plugins being broken.
