World Styles
The CityWorld plugin supports multiple city generation styles. Unlike most configuration options, which are defined in CityWorld's config.yml, generation styles are defined at the creation time of the world. For more information on how to do this please refer to the installation instructions.
Normal
(if you don't specify a style this is what you get)
A world of mountains and cities. Tons of ores underground along with abandoned mine shafts and underground wonders.
Destroyed
(this is simply a normal world with all the destroy/decay flags turned on)
Something went terribly wrong. Watch your step.
Maze
Think: MazeRunner but without the bad acting. Give it a whirl, the Zombie servers out there should find this enjoyable.
Astral
A whole different world. This is a work in progress, more to come.
Floating
Flying high above nature, you need to be very careful where you step. Its a long way down. But really you don't want to go down there anyway as there isn't any ore or fun things to do except run from monsters.
Flooded
Global warming's rising sea levels has caused a bit of a problem for the world.
SandDunes
Imagine Phoenix Arizona after a REALLY bad sand storm. :-(
SnowDunes
Global cooling's giant snow storms has caused a bit of a problem for the world.
I vote we have worldtype which has the ground of the Normal but with Floating Cities! Basically, there are ores and all of the wonders of Normal's ground, but with Floating Cities. Maybe stairs or minecarts to the surface/city?
But, that would be AWESOME.
Flooded is nice, but I'd love to see a city completely submerged, like with water going all the way up to about 64 below the height limit. I want a Waterworld server.
How do you cause all of these things (like Snow Dunes, or a Flooded City?)
please, update to 1.6.4.
Trying to mix options like ruined buildings and a flooded world creates weird patches where the water is missing! Other things like I cant get sewers to work in the special worlds.
@SomewhatEvil
Permutations of options are a bit over whelming. If you have world configurations (the settings file for Multiverse for example) along with location and seeds are very helpful in tracking down issues. Thanks
@cadika_orade
It is on the todo list :-)
@pacificfils
I will add that one to the todo list. Thx
i'm very tempted to use your generator, but i have a question: is it possible to generate a floating + flooded map?
a bit like the world drowned and now everyone live in the sky type of thing?
@carmeops
Not at the moment but I will add it to the todo list :-)
SOLVED! (nvm, updated to the latest build of the plugin, it works flawlessly! :D)
Hello! First of all thank you for this amazing plugin.
I have a small problem though, I have tried with normal, destroyed and flooded but some building always seem to be missing some material, usually the story floors and roofs.. any idea what could be causing this?
I am using Craftbukkit 1.8 with the latest version of Multiverse Worlds.
Would be like super duper cool if all these would generate in one map. Lol. even thinking gives me gamegasm.
Is there anyway to make the obsidian walls in the maze world something else like stone bricks?
@Pocketkid2
Sounds like a reasonable option, I will put on the list
Can you use styles if you use bukkit.yml to use the geneartor?
This is how you create SandDunes and SnowDunes Worlds (usinf Multiverse)
/mv create dune normal -g CityWorld:SandDunes
/mv create iceage normal -g CityWorld:SnowDunes
