Make your mobs bleed a little
BleedingMobs creates a blood effect, when you hit animals, monsters and other players. It generates blood particles using wool and redstone drops, that disappear after a short time and stain the floor with colored wool blocks. All particles can't be picked up and the wool blocks on the floor can't be broken. This plugin is highly customizable in the config.yml. If you need more options, just add a comment or create a ticket.
You should watch the videos to see the effects in action.
The idea for this project came after watching Yogscast: "Shadow of Israphel" Part 25 and 29.
Permissions You need the permission bleedingmobs.admin (default: op) to use the /bleedingmobs command. You need the permission bleedingmobs.bloodstrike (default: true), if you enable permission-only in config. If you enable the permission bleedingmobs.noblood (default: false), you will not bleed when hurt.
Statistics Since Version 3.4 this plugin sends statistics about the usage to the server http://mcstats.org/. You can disable it using the command /bleedingmobs disable-metrics

It should be just "orange ink-sack".
I am trying to give a little more variety to mobs by changing blood colors. However, when trying to give cave spiders orange blood, I cannot use the numerical item ID in the particle-material setting. I want to use orange dye for the particle but any variation I have tried on the name doesn't work. Please add numerical item ID support. Thanks!

Players can take "blood" (bones, red wool etc) even with last version...

I am guessing no way to toggle it? So like i can bleed, but if i am tracking, lets say a x-rayer, or greifer, i can disable temporary while i am vanished? If not no biggie, just did not know if that is possible, or just its no bleed, or bleed? Thanks good work!

Any way to disable self bleeding for a specific player? Vanished admins sometimes bleed if near explosions or similar damage, it's been giving us away.

Hey,
For some reason when using version 3.6d on bukkit recommended build for 1.3.1 upon killing a monster, players get mass amounts of items
but when i disabled the plugin this stopped
I was wondering if there was any way to have this fixed

To reduce the quantity of redstone, increase the wool-chance.

Reduce the amount on each mob and increase the death percentage. I've not tested it with R4, but no bug reports yet.
