Battle Arena
Minigames Framework, PvP, and Solo combat with limitless customization
NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

To see what statistics this plugin may collect and send out from your server. See Information Collection. This can be disabled in BattlePluginsAPI/config.yml
Updating
This plugin checks for new bukkit release versions which can be disabled in the BattleArena/config.yml

I am definitely planning on continuing BattleTracker! I have also had a web interface in the works for some time now. Now that you mention it, an API doesn't sound half bad either :D. Hey Zach, I take it from the comments you are taking over this project, that Im very thankful for, Im not sure if you are aware of battletracker http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/battletracker/ that goes with this plugin to record stats for world pvp/pve & arena ranks, its absolutely amazing, Please keep this running. I am currently working on a web interface to display the mysql information from the Arenas via battletracker. It would be superb to either implement both into one plugin or keep them both separate, but it would be half the plugin without it. Also if an API is developed then plugins like Autorank could hook into it to have events happen based on gameplay stats! I will happily release my web UI to the public if people wanted it. I am re-making the stats UI for http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/lolmewnstats/ at the moment, then this is my second plan to put everything into one interface, along with griefprevention statistics.

Posted Sep 23, 2014Thank you so much for the new developers that are taking over battlearena. Battlearena was the first plugin I ever new of and now battlearena is my favorite plugin. When the wiki was shut down It was really scary and I thought battlearena was gone for good. I'm sorry for spamming the comments but I was so eager to know the bottom line.

1) Will possibly be added as a configurable option 2) No 3) Will be added (although I am 90% sure it already exists...) 4) I need clarification on that one 5) No. Reason being; /leave is very generic, and there is a very high chance for conflicts. Nobody wants conflicts ;)

Posted Sep 22, 2014I have some suggestions for the next update 1. Only players in the arena can hear each other 2. When pressing tab it will only show the players in the arena 3. Make a command to choose a kit 4. When the game finishes the players will join another game 5. Make a /leave command instead of /pb leave Ect.

Wsavage9, this project is being picked up by other Developers. We are currently preparing, regrouping, and planning. We are also in contact with the current developers about taking over. A wiki is also being set up as we speak. This all takes time. Please be patient. Thank you.

I have been in contact with Bukkit moderators about taking over this project. I was told that due to security reasons, I will have to create a new project to continue BattleArena. I am going to fix some quick bugs that exist in BA and create a new project tomorrow. Links will be posted as soon as the project is ready and approved.
