GUILDS
Guilds is a fully customisable RPG plugin that allows you to create Guilds with distinct advantages and disadvantages over other players and Guilds. You can increase or decrease attack and damage or even enable special abilities. Suitable and customisable for multi world servers.
Guild Configuration
Each guild is fully customisable and allows for millions of different variations. There are 57 Proficiency Types, Item Restrictions/Limitations, Active Worlds, Active Biomes and Home Bases. A player can only be in one Guild at any one time.

Settings
Settings allow you to control the wider aspects of the Guilds plugin, to enable or disable various features and to customise the look of the plugin in the players chat box. A list of settings in the settings.yml file click here.

Donations
The best way to continue development. If I receive enough donations I will open a testing server for the public to help weed out more bugs and allow people to get there ideas across to me in the chat.
Also,this is exactly what I have been looking for! Can't wait to see how far it goes,as of now I think it is great! :) Still testing out and have not gotten very far at all but I got a question? Magic damage increase/decrease? Where in minecraft is there magic to apply that to?

suggestions
Vegetarians: can only eat bread,apples and mushroom stew
Enchanting: disable or enable certain types of weapons (archers can only enchant bows for example)
Weapons: can only use certain types of weapons (archers can only use up to iron swords)
Speed: certain guilds can run/walk slower or faster than others
Armour: can only equip specific types of armour
One question what is the magic trait and how is it used? Hope you find these interesting at the least :) will be using this mod very soon.

Last thing, I couldn't figure out how to use abilities! :P I read the whole thing and couldn't find it anywhere.
Also, after setting the Guild Base for Humans It says "Base set for guild Humans" But if I try to do /guilds base human it says "Guild bases disabled" Even though they are enabled.
Is there a way to make it so that once people join a guild they can't leave it? Because I don't want players joining a guild, taking stuff, then leaving and joining a different one.
Just a simple Suggestion:
Addition of spout to allow for race specific skins? (For example: When a guild (Dwarves) is created. In the config you can define: The Skin: (URL of skin) Just an idea, which i thought would be very helpful to my server. Otherwise, the plugin will work great for my server. Thanks! (I posted it on the normal bukkit page but felt it would probably be a good idea to post it here)
This plugin is very good and will come very handy for my server.
This is shaping up to be one hell of a plugin, sir. i would just like to suggest different types of guilds (people can create) and features (you may be interested in) (I will be going over stuff that is already implemented)(by default non of them can enchant anything unless stated)
1. Elves: Can only eat apples,bread and mushroom stew. Are very good with bows (more damage more types of arrows, can enchant bows) but can only use up to stone/iron swords.
2. Dwarves: have a high defense but are not very powerful. Very good miners (mine quicker, chance of double drops)
3. Guardians/wariors: higher than average defense, very good with swords (more damage, can enchant swords and armour)
4.Magicians (ability to cast various spells but all types of spells cost items/materials For example "fireball" costs 2 coal to cast and has a 15 second recharge)
5.Rouges: good with bows and swords (higher damage with both) but can only equip leather armour and have less defense.
Hope you find these interesting at the least :) will be using this mod very soon.

I see the direction of guilds or races to remain at one level (no bosses) but i will implement the things u mentioned such as separated traits from guilds and mining tools (and sunlight damage something ive already considered).
Thank you for the suggestions, my time and skills are limited i have not yet explored that ability to add economy support to plugins...
IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME WITH ECONOMY SUPPORT?

How about: permissions. I saw this in Levelcraft, where only skilled forgers can forge iron or gold, and only the best miners can mine obsidian. So with this mod you could have a mining guild, which is the total specialist for iron mining and forgering... On my server I used to combine Guilds with 3 other mods, so there’s a Tech guild, which could build stargates, place redstone and get 3times more xp.
i think the bank system and a rank system ragan262 mentioned, would be very cool. on my server the guilds has own iconomy accounts, so the money they get from selling stuff in shops or people who wants to join a guild. But the money is only transfored to the guild bosses once a day, by a skript, so they have to share it by their own, thats pretty lame. It would be cool, if there are ranks and percentages of money each rank get. so the master gets 20%, all higher members 5%, all other members 1% for example.
also the ability that a player gets damage in the sunlight, so that the miners stay in the underworld
Or the ability to switch blocks like lapis-blocks, gold-blocks and diamond-blocks, so there can be a jewelry guild
Water breathing
Few ideas:
- limit using different tools for different traits (only miners are able to use diamond pickaxe)
- separated guild system and trait system
- any guild can contain players with any traits
- guild still has it's own guild bank, disabled in-guild pvp, optional land protection
- guild membership advantages +X% to given stat (guildmaster will decide which one)
- fees for guild members to stay in giuld (guildmaster decides, goes to guildbank)
- upkeep for each guild defined by admin
