GUILDS
Guilds is a fully customisable RPG plugin that allows you to create Guilds with distinct advantages and disadvantages over other players and Guilds. You can increase or decrease attack and damage or even enable special abilities. Suitable and customisable for multi world servers.
Guild Configuration
Each guild is fully customisable and allows for millions of different variations. There are 57 Proficiency Types, Item Restrictions/Limitations, Active Worlds, Active Biomes and Home Bases. A player can only be in one Guild at any one time.

Settings

The best way to continue development. If I receive enough donations I will open a testing server for the public to help weed out more bugs and allow people to get there ideas across to me in the chat.
Yup i've been using this plugin since it first came out
only thing that is not working is the abiltiy to put example-
attack: 50
the plugin automatically rounds 50 down to 0
if i put 120 it always rounds down to the nearest 100/0
Please fix this! Great plugin

Ahh, thankee. That seems to make sense. I'll check out contact now, that's the only thing that doesn't make sense. That and food, but I can't even alter food from in-game, so perhaps it's a previous feature or something?

all abilities set to true are on at the same time...
@Ruvolo @MerchantToDeath the traits work as damage taken by * so if you set fall to 0 you take no fall damage
One more question, how do you disable the chat. I use towny chat, and now I'm getting a double repeated chat, one from towny and one from guilds. I would like to just have towny format chat and turn yours off, sry I just know how to use the towny one already and have it set the way I like.
I'm little confused by some of these traits. Things like projectile. If I increase this does the player's arrow do more damage, or does the player take more damage from arrows? If you could describe each one and it's effect on the player it would be very helpful. I probably can figure them out on my own, but it would be appreciated. Now that I look at it, you have archer as one, so I guess archer increases and decreases the players damage rate, and projectile increases and decreases the damage taken from arrows, I guess.
Hi I'm developing a server and I found your plugin (1.3.0) very interesting for my idea. I'm creating a guild system with factions, so that a player chooses a faction and them joins a guild to gain special powers. Unfortunately I found some problems with your plugin: Most of the traits and abilities don't work. if I choose Attack 100, Attack 50, Attack 200 or Attack 1000 the player always does 1 heart damage. The only difference is when I set Attack 0, so the player does no damage at all. The same thing happens with Drowning, Starvation, and more. There's no way to increase/decrease the value of the traits/abilities, I can only set them to 0 or other. For example: I want to create 3 guilds, each one for a class I created: Sparta (warrior), Wizards (wizard) and Atlantide (sort of thieves); I wanted to give extra damage and no starvation bonus to warriors, extra magic and no burning bonus to wizards and poison arrow/blade with no drowning bonus for thieves. Then I changed my mind and I set only a little bonus for drowning, starvation and fire. Then I found the errors: I can't set the fire/starvation/drowning damage on 25, or 50, or 100, or 200, because the damage is always the same. The only thing that changes is if I set the trait to 0. Also other abilities and traits don't work, like Attack, Archer and more. What's the problem? Is it possible that the problem is some other plugin installed? Oh, one more thing: If I set friendyfire true or false it works, but if I set bases it will say bases are enabled/disabled, but when i set the base and then type "/guilds base 'group'" it says the bases are disabled. What should I do? P.S. Sorry for my english, I'm Italian :)
need new permissions feature. So if player have -guilds.join.vip permission,he can join in vips guild.btw nice plugin

It seems to me that the first two (attack and archer) are damage the player does, the rest are damage the player takes (while the last two being neither). Example: Archer increases\decreases the damage the player does with a bow, while projectile increases\decreases the damage the player takes from projectiles. Player and mob would be the damage players and mobs do to the player, and contact is cactus (I assume).
i can only create 3 guilds the this error message comes up when i try to make 1, "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command" if i remove the 3 guilds i made, it still comes up with the message

@908070p: I'm pretty sure that they are all rolled together if you enable them all, but I'm still testing the Guilds plugin to see.
I wish this had better documentation, while a lot of the traits (like drowning and starving) are obvious what they affect, I kinda wonder about a lot of the other traits. What are they modifying? Specifically, I'm referring to these: archer (increase/decrease bow attacks) projectile (increase/decrease damage) What's the difference between the two? contact (increase/decrease damage) What does this refer to?
player (increase/decrease damage) mob (increase/decrease damage) to players and mobs? From players and mobs? I'm experimenting with this a little bit right now, and it seems to be mostly from players and mobs, but I'm not entirely certain.
Also, food is listed in the config file, yet I can't find it here. What does that do? Modify your hunger rate?
I really like this mod, and so far everything seems to work... I just kinda wish I didn't have to figure out what some things do- especially when I don't know whether they work or not (since a lot of people seem to be complaining about problems with this working correctly.)
How does one switch abilitys on guilds or is is all combined in one blow i.e (arrow)? If it is all combined make it so that you can switch arrow types so the players wont get so Overpowering P.S add me on your server list i will never abandon this unless this goes inactive or it doesn't work
Is there anyway to set it so that the only people that can see the "/guilds list" command only works for OPS / Admins?
Is anyone else having problems with the traits. Some do work but a lot do not. Ca someone else test and tell me their results. Thanks!
I love this, as I've been trying to find something to make races for my server.
It seems like your trying to add in some kind of magic, but would it be easier or more advantageous to hook into something like MagicSpells? Then maybe the magic node you have could alter the mana regeneration from that plugin?

If you're not in a guild, it will give you a null prefix. Go into the guilds configuration and put the prefixes to false to keep this from happening.

Yea,turns out this plugin does need quite a bit of work done to it. Will turn out great i'm sure.
After trying to join a group saying already i'm in a group. Trying to see the members of the group i'm supposedly in, I get " You are not in a group..." Gosh,i'll be back when it's in working condition.
After testing,looks like changing a traits does not seem to change anything. Tried x2,x3,x4,x5 on traits and nothing seems to change,always taking and giving same amount of damage,drowning the same. Do not think i'm doing anything wrong.
