This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture

What am I doing wrong? Here is my config... http://pastebin.com/FxHejJQg
Automessage keeps erasing the config and replacing it with the default every time i do /am reload or stop and restart the server.....
Example:
settings:
enabled: true
interval: 45
prefix: '&0[&bAutoMsg&0]'
random: true
logToConsole: true
messages:
- '&1First&f message in the loaded messages!'
- '&2Second&f message in the loaded messages!'
- '&3Third&f message in the loaded messages!'
commands:
- 'say Hi!'
- 'save-all'
Works for R4?

I agree. When I updated, it reset the config. I said UGH, then went and got a backup from TimeMachine (Mac thing). I copied pasted the messages into the new format. I started my server again, it reset the config again.
Update? :<
1.4 is pretty buggy, making even simple changes to the config generates this error: "operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open"
PLease help i posted my config a few posts below
@ELCHILEN0

Heres my config if theres something wrong plz tell me http://pastie.org/4057528
Hi it would be awesome if there was the setting to not show auto messages in a specific world, and if possible show different auto messages for specific worlds.
Another alternative would be to integrate with HeroChat to do the above however instead of for different world, auto messages could be configured per chat channel.
Let me know Thanks Aaron
@DrFusion
Im going to go ahead and fix builds this weekend expect an update in around 2-3 days or whenever I finish testing.
@Dr_Proffesor
No it is intended to check if any values are missing or the header is not in place. If so it will regenerate those values. So you may have encountered errors where you were using an old config or had a value missing however I am not sure.
and im using the one you put here http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/automessage/?comment=132
@ELCHILEN0
Its intended to overwrite right my config!?!?!?!? i hope your yanking me. But the startup error is gone
Yo it worked for sometime but then it screwed up, i don't understand the worked part then suddenly went.. kaplunk, and ETA on the next WORKING build?
@Dr_Proffesor
Not sure which version you are using but this is intended.
I tried your dev build. When i startup server it overites my config with default config -_-
@gabessdsp
I think I found the error in your config. - '&bRemember: Greifers will be banned.$n &bYou can repeal bans by sending gabessdsp a PM on the forums.' That line has a line break. It disrupts the way that the config and messages are parsed.
@gabessdsp
Glad you figured it out. Sometimes you may miss a stray ' and that can throw off the way that the plugin reads the messages. Ill try to have my latest build up soon.
