What is Vampire?
With this plugin anyone can become a vampire, but do you want to? During daytime vampires cower from sunlight. During the night the humans reach for their holy water and wooden stakes as the vampires roam the lands with inhuman strength, speed and levitation-powers. Driven by their endless bloodlust, they devour all living in their way. Vampires...
- are destroyed by sunlight.
- are extremely vulnerable to wood and holy water.
- spreads the dark disease through combat and their own blood.
- kill and drink blood instead of eating food.
- regenerate health quickly at the expense of food-level.
- won’t be attacked by monsters unless the vampire attacks first.
- take no fall- or suffocation-damage.
- have stationary food level unless in bloodlust mode.
- move faster, jump higher and damage more with bloodlust.

It's a nice idea, there's always a royal bloodline (Films, Anime, Games like Castlevania and Skyrim: Dawnguard) and it should be nice to see a plugin with that things
Hi! I love the plugin, but it would be great if you can transform into a vampire with wings (Like the vampires of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, or Dracula from Van Helsing) like in the plugin of Werewolf (http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/werewolf)
That's my opinion, but the plugin is still great ;)

@sheriff1999
You can modify the values of damage, speed, etc easily if you understand how to modify the json (You can also add more effects that minecraft supports). As for the bats thing you could implement a disguise plugin, but I do agree that that being a feature would be cool, but it requires a lot of work to do disguises properly. I'm also assuming since this plugin was developed to be used on their server that they have it set up with plugins that may only be available on their server. If you want send me a message and I can send you a modded json file that you can use.
@TiTech1
why am i scared that you are right ok here is what im gonner do if any one is intrested in helping me make a vampire plugin you know a good one and pm me.
@sheriff1999 agreed that vampires r too weak, I see in a lot of movies and anime vampires regenerating super quick so I think vampires should have a infinite regen III or atleast II. Also I think there should be vampires that have "royal blood" which they don't loose food bars fast from bloodlust, don't burn in the sun, and wooden stuff does not do as much damage. If they don't want to add all this they should atleast add a config so we can edit vampires to make them stronger. They will probley not be updating this anymore since they havn't updated this in forever. It even has some glitches like silverfish, witches, and a few other monsters still attack vampires.
ok i need to ask for a few things vampires are much to weak mabye boost there strength a bit and they are also to slow sorry to say but i just think they should be better to atleast stand a chance angist a werewolf aspecial since wood does like 50 damge to you and so does sun and torchs ye... also the abilty to turn into a sawrm of bats would be cool just idea but please please add them
Is this plugin abandoned?
I think vampires should be able to become a bat because in most movies the vampire can 1. Become a bat or 2. Fly. Of course vamps can still only fly at night as a bat and could you make it so they can only turn into a bat at night if they use a command? Please think about this and the sever I'm on people thought it was a great idea.
Can you add a config? I want to make bloodlust better because vampires don't stand a chance against werewolves
@panos144 I made a tutorial on how to make the vampire plugin and other mcore plugins work in specific worlds, here it is :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sd8YlcYJfY
@AlteOgre
why not try CraftBooks' custom crafting function which lets you setup custom crafting recipes, should work just fine i'd imagine and craftbook is completely modular so you can disable everything else on it and just use the custom crafting. i believe it might be possible to give the recipe's permission requirements though can not recall whether or not this is possible.
@EDzGaming Well yeah I already tried it but thanks for saying it.
@MayorMike Thanks for answering I can't use it in my server because of this it's very good plugin.
@panos144
or get perworldplugins EDIT: IT DOESNT WORK WITH VAMPIRE :D
@sielmeth
kill stuff on the way
@panos144
In a way, you can do MultiWorld support. It's parent plugin MassiveCore has a "Universe" System. For example, Normal World and Creative world. You can set it so that the Normal world has Vampires, but the Creative one doesn't, but you also need to remove permissions in the Creative world so that they can't become one anyway.
It's a bit more complex, but still achieves the same goal. I do agree that a setting to disable it per world would be nice.
@mikethekitty
do ingame /pex group {group} add vampire.kit
Excellent plugin just multiworld support if you could add.
how to prolong the duration of Bloodlust?
