I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
Name | ID | Description |
---|---|---|
Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

I will not update the alpha, beta I will issue immediately. May 3 deadline for the very optimistic. I must improve my plugins, create a new server, etc. I think that I can finish it by March 15.
When will it be updated with 1.2??? Love the plugin Ill tell you some glitches later..

Not all blocks are added, which only glass windows. Glass as a building block was not added. The next version will. I am also working by yourself it can be defined.
Kingdoms is my plugin to define kingdoms / cities. This has no application.
March 3 I give a beta version, officially. If there are no problems.

only this brought a new suggestion, however I think you already know: Glass and fence gates will not stick to the ship. It's kinda annoying, I gave my ship a glass bottom so I easily could see where I went, then the ship went off without the floor...
EDIT: What exactly is "support kingdoms" never heard of a plugin called kingdoms? And what does it add for support?
config-able way points (by way of tool, console command, or .yml edit) for ships to create auto paths (like flight points in any MMO)

A good idea, the bigger the ship the more that had to be submerged.
Another suggestion: For ships a required (configurable?) percentage that it has to be underwater.

Yes they can be rotated.
I want all the blocks have full functionality, including Redstone.
In particular, it does not require a lot of work.
You will be the same set of blocks which will comprise the airship.
This seriously is too friggin epic!!!
I have got a few questions: Will ships be able to rotate? Are dispensers useable on (air)ships? Does redstone work? And 1 suggestion: Maybe you could make the possible blocks in an aircraft configureable.

I know how to program multi-threaded so it should run much faster than movecraft.
Seen in the video plugin has only 300 lines of code.
Do not know if I will add submarines, etc. For sure I will add the ability to define their own vehicles, and should behave, etc. so you can do submrarines. But not right away. First, he wants to make the possibility of flying balloons and ships because it is needed for my server. Guns and other weapons not I add as such. but when I'm finished Ships to the state where it can be used to try to make a simple plugin that will add weapons to the server, it will nicely coincided with a plugin Ships.
Hey Ive been using movecraft for a while: saw in the chat for movecraft that you were making this plugins ships finally found it. got to ask:
Will it be as laggy: Will there be submrarines: Will there be cars? Will there be tanks/mortars and possibly guns? I will be watching this closely if you need a tester ask me

This plugin looks extremely promising. I wish you the best of luck and I can not wait to get a hold of this. Me and my team are setting up a an exotic planet/ space themed server that requires vehicular movement. Hands down this honestly looks substantially better than both move and auto craft. I would say that the inclusion of artillery and weapon systems and other such things would bring this to a multipurpose plugin. For the controls I do love the Sign systems. instead of having to click in a direction if you hit a sign you take away the possibility of in-air block placement. anyways I will be watching this thread extremely scrupulously and will be waiting in the wings for the download of it. Cheers gents!
Well I've updated move craft now, honestly if i get no response from the dev team, I would happily help with this.
