Description
This is a useful plugin that allows players on a server to report other players they see breaking the rules. The reports are stored in a database until they are deleted, which is especially useful when there are no ops or admins on to deal with the problem. Admins and mods can quickly teleport to the location where the report was submitted to speed up response times. Once the admin or mod has dealt with the situation they can write a report summary for other mods and admins to view.
Features
- Create, store, view, and delete reports.
- Teleport to the location where the report was filed.
- Report summaries that outline who took care of the report and what the outcome of the report was.
- Works with built-in permissions and PermissionsEx.
- Supports both MySQL and SQLite.
- Multi-language support.
Outbound Connections
- An outbound connection is used when checking for updates, more information and how to disable this can be found here.
- An outbound connection is used when downloading and updating locale files, more information and how to disable this can be found here.
- An outbound connection will be used when connecting to a user specified remote MySQL server.
- This plugin collects metrics using bStats, more information and how to disable this can be found here.

I'll create a configuration option so you can toggle whether ops get all permissions by default.
Is it possible to do so ops don't have the perms from this plugin that u have to do it trough permission plugin?
Ok, thank you. Translation is near completion. Sorry for the "little" delay.
@Niknox
Yes they can.
May players also report offline players?
@absintoj
Thank you. I added your video to the tutorials page.
@jake0o0
I'm not sure what you mean by which server. Each server should run on it's own Reporter database.
@shankomaster
Yes, I do plan to release the source, once I have cleaned it up. I plan on completing the features I'm currently working on (here) before cleaning up the source though.
I started tickets here, here and here for your suggestions.
@craftik7
Created a ticket here.
Please can you add API with plugin Notifications so the report will be visible on my desktop? http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/notifications/
Been loving the plugin! Great job.
Do you plan on releasing the source code at all? I have a few utilities I'd like to implement for my server, if you don't maybe you would like the ideas too:
/report stats <player>
Shows the # of reports player has finished, and maybe a percentage number indicating what percent of all reports they have completed. This way we can measure which mods are working the hardest!
Another thing, if a report is unfinished but the reported player is offline, there could be a check when the player logs on to see if they are reported in an unfinished report. If they are, it would give anyone with perms a message "player from unfinished report <#> has logged on"
Another idea would be to color the report numbers green/red depending on if the reported player is online, that way it would be easy to see which reports to take care of when we do /report unfinished.
Thanks for reading, and once again great plugin!
I haven't been able to test it yet but when using SQL and using /report view does it specify what server the report was issued on? If not that would be a great thing to add :p
no, 2 report with the same index caused a problem, the problem is solved at the database :)
thanks :)
@patalkok
Does that report have a dollar sign ($) in the details?
i have error with index 14..
Could you integrate reporter with notifications?

Have you ever wanted an easy way for your players to let you know if a player is hacking or cheating?
Well with this you can you can easily see if a player is hacking and have any player do / report [player]
and all the OP's on the server will be sent a message about who sent the report and who is hacking or cheating
and if you have Notifications Installed you will get pop ups of on your desktop (but you must host the server on your computer to see them and I really recommend installing it)

@webnews2
I just removed the color codes from the locale file. The updated version (4.1) is up on Dropbox. Reporter should update the file automatically when you restart or reload the server.
The german translation shows not the colours of the messages! It shows the color code!
@xclucky
Try re-downloading CraftBukkit and Reporter. It seems like there was some sort of corruption in the jar. If that doesn't fix it please submit a ticket here.
Any thought as to what could be causing this error? It wasn't there until today. Today I updated the following plugins: BkCommonLib, NoLagg, Orebfuscator
Also, greetings again Dianne, I see you are using the same reporting plugin as me.
@codewow
If you look up, you can see "Permissions Nodes" there.
@diannetea
Spigot is not supported. But, that error pretty much only occurs if plugin.yml in the JAR has been altered. Try to re-download Spigot and Reporter.jar. Also next time you have an issue please submit a ticket here.
