Description
This is a useful plugin that allows players on a server to report other players they see breaking the rules. The reports are stored in a database until they are deleted, which is especially useful when there are no ops or admins on to deal with the problem. Admins and mods can quickly teleport to the location where the report was submitted to speed up response times. Once the admin or mod has dealt with the situation they can write a report summary for other mods and admins to view.
Features
- Create, store, view, and delete reports.
- Teleport to the location where the report was filed.
- Report summaries that outline who took care of the report and what the outcome of the report was.
- Works with built-in permissions and PermissionsEx.
- Supports both MySQL and SQLite.
- Multi-language support.
Outbound Connections
- An outbound connection is used when checking for updates, more information and how to disable this can be found here.
- An outbound connection is used when downloading and updating locale files, more information and how to disable this can be found here.
- An outbound connection will be used when connecting to a user specified remote MySQL server.
- This plugin collects metrics using bStats, more information and how to disable this can be found here.

What CB version are you using? Bukkit updated their Event system in CB1818 (CB 1.1-R1) and Reporter 2.10 updated to the new system. So, if you are using a older version of Bukkit the Event system in the newer versions of Reporter won't work.
@UnitedFactions
yeah the setting is set to true but it stopped working some time ago my guess is the last time it worked was 2.10 i am not using 2.12 and still the report list is not showing up to the GM's or Admin on the server we have to manually type "/report list" each time we log in if we wish to see if any have been made
Edit: @KabOOm356 the only thing that loads when i do is "Welcome to Andoria there is 1 player on" no other messages and still it will not load i also have it set to delay for 5 seconds and nothing shows up so its not loading or even trying to load.
Is there a way to set this up to use my /calladmin feature in adminium? I'd really like to be notified via push notifications on my iphone when stuff happens so that I can resolve them immediately if it's important. Maybe the first few lines of the report ticket be used in the /calladmin function call?
Thanks!
@IronPython
I believe @UnitedFactions was correct that if there is a lot of text, from other players or other plugins, going on in the chat box when a player logs in the report listings get 'pushed' off screen. Try using the delay feature I added in Reporter 2.12.0.
@IronPython
general: messaging: listOnLogin: true
Do you mean that? The thing is the messages are not seenable since the traffic on chat
@KabOOm356
just letting you know i have used this plugin for a long time and not sure when it started but some update ago i no longer get report list when i log in as a admin i have all reporter permissions and im a OP we use to get it and i looked in the config and its set to true an list on login. something i may be missing that was changed after minecraft 1.1? (i think its about then it stopped showing up but we were so use to it we didnt notes it went away until we were redoing are spawn room with tutorials lol)
@UnitedFactions
There is already some functionality like that. But there is a configuration option to disable the feature. So, if you're playing on someone else's server they may have disabled it. If it is enabled a player without permissions can use the list command to show the indexes of reports that player has submitted. Then use the view command for those indexes.
@darkcloud784
I'll think about creating one.

When ever the plugin gives that message it should always print the error to the console. The only thing I can come up with is that the connection to your database is going slow or there is some corruption in the database. Try deleting your database and letting the plugin recreate it from scratch. If you continue to have problems create a ticket.
Hey, the past few days I've been getting the message "An error has occured!", but I have no idea why. Sometimes commands work, sometimes that message comes up and the commands are being typed correctly each time. No errors in console or anything. When it is working though it's a great plugin, nice work.
You guys should make a webportal for this, makes it ALOT easier to administrate. I know there's a spanish webportal created for it, but it doesn't work.
I would love to see a function where people who have submitted a report, can actually see the status of theyre report eventually ;) As they login as we replied or anything like that!
Thanks Kaboom, I missed that when I set up their permissions. I'll blame it on old age ;)
@Crunchy_Slipper
If you give them the reporter.list node that should list the reports when they login.
Is there a permission node for listonlogin?
I'd like to give this to a deputies group who are not ops
@nhoclesnar
The line that the error occurs on is a call to a bukkit function that returns null, when it shouldn't unless plugin.yml was edited in your copy of Reporter.jar. So, there is nothing I can do about it. Try updating/re-downloading Craftbukkit and Reporter. If the error continues send me a PM or submit a ticket here and I will try to help you with it.
I got this error.
Can you add this plugin's functionality into yours?

@KabOOm356
Great!
@darkcloud784
It seems to still work with 2.11.0.
does anyone know if http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/reporter-web-support/
works with this still?
@darkmyre
Yeah, I could do something in the report view that when it says the reported player and submitter's name it would show the rounded coordinates next to their name like:
Player Reported: KabOOm356 (WORLD: X-AXIS, Y-AXIS, Z-AXIS)
Also, about warping into stone and stuff, that happens when a player reports someone and then builds something where they were standing when they made the report. You should always assume that when ever you respond that you will be teleported into a dangerous area (like at the bottom of a lava lake). If you are always teleporting to incorrect locations then submit a ticket here and I will try to help you with it.
