Giants are the big, bad, boss mob of MyZ. Unlike other MyZ mobs, the configuration option allows you to choose Biomes in which they can spawn (versus cannot). They are immune to explosive and ranged damage and have a special attack move.

Information

  • Giants will attack both players and Guards.
  • When hit, a Giant has a random chance of either leaping into the air, exploding on impact, or spawning a random horde of zombies.
  • A player affected by a Giant's explosion will receive both explosive damage and a Slowness debuff.
  • Upon death, a Giant splits into a configurable sized horde of zombies (all crawlers).
  • Giants can be manually spawned in using a Mooshroom spawn egg.

Drops

Common

  • Between 10-19 rotten flesh (this amount can be increased drastically using a Looting item to kill.

Rare

  • Giants drop between 0-4 rare drops upon death.
  • A bow with the enchantment Infinity
  • A diamond sword with 50% durability
  • A golden apple
