Features
- Customize the text over a mob head (name, health and max health)!
- Customize the health bar for players, prefix + suffix, on the name tag, and for players (see the customization page)
- Option to always show health bars
- Health bars disappear after a configurable time
- No Spout or client mods required
- Easy drag and drop install
- World selection for mobs and players
- Will notify the console when an update is released on bukkit dev (on reload) and players with permission

Compatibility
This plugin is compatible with:
- Damage Indicator Holograms
- Colored Tags
- EpicBoss Gold Edition (set hooks -> epicboss: true)
- ScoreboardStats
- MobArena (set override-other-scoreboard: true)
- McMMO (use the latest version, it will be fine)
- Citizens (you can't turn off the health for citizens, under the name, because it's displayed on all the human entities)
- Permission Health
- Sentry for Citizens (v1.3.7+)
- Heroes (use latest version)
Not compatible with:
- NametagEdit - may crash players, alternative plugin: Colored Tags
- Other plugin that uses the scoreboard (but if the use the main scoreboard, you can try to turn off permission and world disabling to make them compatible)
- TagAPI (It could make players show 0 HP and hide team names; works with mob health bars)

Featherboard uses a personal scoreboard instance and HealthBar is using a global scoreboard instance to send the update to all players by one call.
It's possible to use both at the same time, but it's not possible with the Bukkit API which is based on the minecraft implementation. If you work around the Bukkit API and send the raw packets to the client, it would work.
This is what I do in ScoreboardStats in order to make it compatible with other scoreboard plugins and it works fine. (ScoreboardStats uses a personal and HealthBar a global scoreboard)
@games647
From what I've heard it's because health bar consistently creates the same scoreboard for each player. He explains it on his main project page: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/featherboard.2691/ (I copied it here in case you don't have a spigotmc account: https://gist.github.com/RoboMWM/30f4484a904444c6d9ee)
@xIxEnvYxIx
This is a incompatible bug made by Mojang. It's better to report it to them.
@sakura_blades
FeatherBoard is actually one of the most downloaded premium plugins on Spigot, lol. (IIRC)
Filoghost:
I'd like to point out, that this sort of thing is still possible in 1.8 versions. I have a plugin that uses the over-head nameplate of players to do exactly what HealthBars does, and then some and we have 0 issues displaying information properly.
Some of the users here, say this plugin still works on 1.8 as well. Though appears there are some things occurring that people aren't too thrilled with. But I see no reason why this plugin cannot continue in the way that it always has. ^.^ People love these kinds of plugins, be a shame to see it discontinued, and since it's been a year since any updates have been made to this plugin, I would dare say it's fallen behind in the updates and some might even declare it dead as far as updates.
@xIxEnvYxIx
You realize this hasn't been updated in almost a year right? Despite it still working, I wouldn't expect any updates on it.
And I have never even heard of FeatherBoard before, so I cannot imagine it's that well used. ;P
Awesome plugin, would be even better if it was compatible with FeatherBoard. You should really fix this as FeatherBoard is a well used plugin.
is it possible to disable de death messages? It causes lot of spam on the chat, i've tried to disable all them by essentials and disabling the handle of Health bar and things like that but nothing worked, any idea?
Hi everyone, in my Spigot 1.8.8 it works perfectly. =)
Yep, confirmed working on spigot 1.8.8.
In your topic it says 1.8+ healthbar won't work anymore. Works fine for me though.
Can I please move the health to the left one under the name?
@hiimurfather
Where the same Default players can't see players Health Bar Fix this folighost :D
Help! It displays mob health but not Player health.
@filoghost CustomNameVisible Is coming back to MC 1.9 Its back on 15w31a version. I hope that they keep that attribute in the future.
Only issue is that there's no way to make the player health bars appear temporarily if they're below the name.
Yep working completely fine with the latest version of Spigot! :D
Works in 1.8.7, The Spigot Team Probably fixed it themselves XD unless Mojang fixed it in one of the minor patches...
i use 1.8.7 and its work fine for me? :O
Plase Disguise Optinal !
@kbalor
Do you really read it all? It wil NOT come for 1.8 and 1.8+ There is not any fix for it! This is because Mojang removed the CustomNameVisible tag in 1.8 this need the plugin to work.
