Bukkit is currently required.
- Install WorldEdit first. (DON'T FORGET THIS)
- Download CommandBook and install it the same way.
- Run your server once to generate the files.
- Edit plugins/CommandBook/config.yml to your liking.
- Restart the server for the settings to take effect.
You'll have to read the wiki (see below) to find the permissions you need.

Release of CommandBook 2.3 for MC 1.6.x: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/commandbook/files/10-command-book-2-3/
How do u make grouped-names work with the online list?
how do i change the localization?
@shiny_suicune
Do your reading and test it for your self don't say stuff you have no clue what we are talking about.
@cky2250
I have found 2.2 on 1.6.1 gives all sorts of errors around spawning horses and such.
@AdminMeggot
You mean for MC version 1.6.2. You can use cammandbook 2.2.
Is there a 1.6.2 version?
@TheLecturer
The command is /ping and it's an ESSENTIALS command
@ewized
IT'S NOT PONG IT'S PING
@MineCrafterCity
Not really.. He expressed valid concern over a command that is indeed somewhat questionable.
@TheLecturer
haha best command in commandbook yet! Man if you don't like the plugin you can make your own? :) You know how ignorant that comment looks? Minecraft's community is getting destroyed by people like you...
@ewized
Interesting... It seems from the dialogue on #84 that the developer is of the opinion that the pong command is disabled by default. Well if s/he is reading this, then please be aware that it is not. I run bPermissions and explicitly assign every permission, no wildcards. Obviously, based on my original post, I had not added commandbook.pong anywhere, yet the command is open to all users. As per the thread, I had also dropped a quick alias into my bukkit.yml to redirect it (once I knew it was there). If it really must stay, then please make admins aware on the primary page of commands so we can make a choice.
Thanks ewized for the dialogue.
@TheLecturer
Don't get me wrong with you I agree on your opinion. Here are times to change it and the reason why he said hes keeping it. https://github.com/sk89q/commandbook/pull/90 https://github.com/sk89q/commandbook/pull/84
@ewized
Fair enough. But I'm not a programmer. I followed the link, and searched the readme and changelog, then drilled down to src/main/java/com/sk89/commandbook/commands/commandbookcommands.java and again searched for "pong" - nothing.
I get that it's free and all that, and I appreciate what the developer community do for minecraft, it's just that this kind of thing is unnecessary. Anyway, emotive argument, we're unlikely to convince each other either way :-) I've called it out, if the dev wants to take it out in a future release then that's up to them.
