Cannons
What can it do?
Cannons is a highly configurable plugin which allows you to fire block build cannons. It is possible to aim and load different amounts of gunpowder to hit targets at different ranges. The power of redstone makes it possible to set the gun to auto load and activate the rapid fire mode. Choose your projectile from a broad spectrum of cannonballs and smash the enemy.
With Cannons 2.0 you are also able to design your own cannons using .schematic files and give each cannon their own settings, as well as different types of projectiles.

Recommended plugins

Installation
- Install WorldEdit first (don't forget this)
- Copy the cannons.jar into your Bukkit's "plugins" directory, then run the server.

Metrics
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version If you wish to disable this feature (/me cries), you can do so by opt-ing out, which you can do in the config file under /plugins/PluginMetrics/

- The cannon ball (snowball) becomes invisible after 60 blocks but hits the target.
- Voxelsniper will delete Buttons/Torches when you load the gun (be careful when you click the barrel)

It is difficult to say how far the snowballs will fly. I have no area to test it out. I the Beta 1.4 is TNT set to timefuse and will explode in the air. With 7 block penetration the projectile will probably explode behind the wall without doing damage. Maybe it is also Minecraft problem or me plugin deletes old snowballs. It would be easier if you show me this problem on your server.
Thanks, I just created a nuke block using diamon Ore XD, and compatability with creeper heal is great, but I found an issue, dunno if it is, I know snowballs diss appears after 60 blocks but hits the target, but me and some couple of soldiers were building a siege camp 365 blocks away from our castle targets, we fired the cannons but never hit it :/ it hits 340 blocks away but not 365, our vertical was 30 and the castle is too high and were sure that 100 percent it's gonna get damaged, it's a stone castle and we used TNT + edited penetration to 7.... Is it a bug or vanilla issue?

Asking is no problem. Defaults of 1.3 are stone and cobblestone. In the Beta 1.4 it is: cobblestone, stone, obsidian, gravel, glass, tnt, wool, dirt, redstone, netherrack, rotten_flesh. All of the 1.4 items have different effects (e.g. Gravel is a canister shot, tnt is timefused,...)
Using the config you can load every block you like, but not all blocks make sense. If you load a bukket lava the lava will probably be placed (I havn't tested it) or flint and steel will burn the cannon. On the botton of the page is a list of item which can be loaded. If you find something which does not work send me pm.

srry, used the wrong version, XD, works now, BTW, GREAT plugin, and a request, can u add a spoiler with types of blocks used as cannon balls, the default ones, i know its editable but too confusing coz i wanna use default

Creeper heal doesnt repair the damage instantly, it repairs the world after a timedelay. Worldguard doesnt block the damage at the moment because i dont use TNT block damage, but it will be implemented in the future.
Btw, i used magical true with creeper heal, doesnt do block damage :/, i have Cannons, Creeper Heal, Worldguard but block tnt block damage is false
Best WAR plugin ever, me and some of my buddies blown alot of players, npcs and mobs, very fun and realistic style (like hard to aim on target just like real life)

You can already change this values. The config must be generated if you start the plugin the first time.
The keys you are searching for are: max gunpowder, max speed
With firecharges you mean the things with are launched by a dispenser? They are only a smaller type of the ghast charges and are not influenced by gravity. So I decided not to use them. When you want to set an area on fire use the 'incendiary' option. For what do you want to use them? If you have a nice idea, we can talk about implementing.
Currently I am updating the config and implementing new firemodes like projectiles with timefuse and a canister shot.

Very tasty plugin! But Ive noticed that the powder/range values are too high for our needs. 3 powder would fire already far enough. Variable settings for that would be tasty.
And one of my mods asked if it might be possible to fire the new firecharges with the cannon. I think thats a decent idea!

Loading the cannons, or what do you mean?
Take sulphur, right click on the wool of the barrel. Take Cobblestone, right click on the barrel. Right click on the torch.
I will make a video how to use the cannons this weekend.

Great ! But when I change the "cannon material" with obsidian (49), my cannon don't work :/
I have recently installed this plugin and I've made the cannon perfectly, but when i right click to put gunpowder in the gun I get an error that says "No permission to load this gun". I'm guessing that it has something to do with the bukkit permissions, so how would I do that?
