XPecon
WARNING: Not complete or updated
What is it?
If you have ever wanted a different XP leveling system, or more ways to use your hard earned XP, then XPecon is a plugin for you! XPecon is an economy plugin for using XP as currency. It also makes XP leveling linear, which opposed to vanilla which is nonlinear, meaning levels are harder to get than the last. Ever get tired of losing all XP on death? This plugin changes that too! You only lose 1/4 of your XP on death, dropping all of that amount so you can retrieve it later. Get paranoid with all those fancy levels on you, and dont want to lose even that small 1/4 of it on death? XPecon also lets you bottle XP into Bottle 'o' Enchantings, which has a set drop amount opposed to the random drop amount in vanilla.
Features:
- Account with XP stored in it per player
- Commands for giving XP
- Bottle-able XP for easy trading via XP Bank chests
- XP bottles drop a constant amount of 10 orbs
- XP leveling is linear with 50 orbs per level
- 3/4 XP kept on death, the other 1/4 is dropped
Upcoming Features:
- Documentation on how to hook your plugin into this as an economy plugin
- Configuration files (I will keep them simple)
- Permissions (some commands are op, others arent, for now.)
- Safety Deposit Boxes
User Documentation
Status:
- XPecon is currently in beta development.
- If you have git installed you can clone the repository.
- I have uploaded a beta jar file.
@poiNt3D
I have not updated this in a while, and while I assume it works with 1.5 I cannot guarantee that, because I have not tested it there. I do know however there is a bug with anvils that makes repairs cost nothing, as long as you have the levels to pay for it.
Does it work with 1.5.1/1.5.2?
@lukecfairchild
yes, it will continue to be supported, a 1.4 version will be compiled and released when a recommend build comes out. Development has come to a temporary pause however, because I want a complete build of the world generator I am working on before 2013. Continued development will probably start again around that time.
i think i will try this out. So long as you guys are continuing supporting it
