BookShops
BookShops adds player and admin run 'chest' shops that allow players to sell books for free or at a price. You need Vault and a Vault supported economy plugin for this feature to work. For a tutorial on how to create BookShops click here.

Notices
The plugin has been COMPLETELY recoded in WelcomeBookRecoded v1.0. Pretty much EVERYTHING has changed, so make sure to understand the new plugin.
If you are using a plugin such as AuthMe you must make sure that if that plugin has an inventory protect feature you must disable it. In AuthMe it's the setting ProtectInventoryBeforeLogin in the config.

WOW holy crap fast work man.
thank you so much for your effort I am sure my self and many server owners will make good use of it to help inform our users.
@kbryantLA24
If you're using v2.0 you can export books from in-game, it supports line spacing and all the colour/font editors using ยง. Since that update I'm not supporting any help requests who try edit the config manually as it can all be done from in-game without any risk of a corrupt config file.
@kbryantLA24
Try \n. It will automatically add new lines as your text gets longer.
How do you add a "new line" in pages?
@Eliijah
Everything works fine in all versions 1.4.5-R1.0 and later. Are you sure you downloaded version 2.0?
Or maybe the commands just are not working with 1.4.6?
How do i set this up? As in what is the command to get the book in hand, it doesnt seem to work for me!
WelcomeBook v2.0 is out!!
The file hasn't been officially approved yet but you can grab it from the Latest Download section.
@Nikecow
Thank you! :)
I will test this tomorrow on my server. Excellent work!
@Forest181
A lot of those features in BookRules are going to be added into this plugin.
@tenebraemaximus
This plugin uses the new API added in 1.4.5-R1.0, meaning it will never break in future versions of Bukkit, but I'll still be adding new features. :)
@RustyDagger
there is a plugin which does just what you mentioned. There is just one down on that plugin - it does not work with 1.4.5. :( Its called BookRules and you can find it here.... But just as I sad, its not functional with newer versions of CB.
This seems like a great plugin to have. If it gets constant updates, I'd be happy to keep it while I configure my server.
@RustyDagger
Those are some very nice suggestions and I am definitely willing to expand this plugin. I'll start working on them tomorrow. :)
Hi, I am looking for a replacement for BookText. this plugin currently features just about every thing Booktext has apart from the ingame commands and permissions.
However Booktext seems to be some what inactive and not listening to what atleast 10 server owners have requested.
The feature I am looking for is being able to Import an Existing book with a command.
this will allow for IN-GAME editing because we can write a book with colors and get all the formatting as is.
most server owners are strapped for time or simply have better things to do than spend a few hours changing a config and checking it in-game.
Another Highly requested feature is to be able to have more than one book and from the looks of the config that should not be too much of a stretch.
one last feature that would be very handy is some simple command to spawn a book at any time.
This may not be a plugin you wish to expand on but i think with at least some of the above features you will have a very popular plugin on your hands.
