WeatherScopes
WeatherScopes - Regional Weather
Description:
Inspired by this Plugin I created a similar one that allows to create dynamic and regional weather.
Features
Main Features
It replaces the old weather system and allows you to create storms for every single world. You can set up
- Location
- Movement Speed
- Intensity
- Size
- Duration
- WorldGuard regions can have a Flag called "rain"
for every Storm - or just add random storms with variable parameters.
Other Features
- Multiverse compatible
- PermissionEx support
- Dynmap compatible
- WorldGuard Integration if "WorldGuard Custom Flags" is installed
Commands
- storms reload - reloads all files and configs
- storms save - saves all storms to the disk
- storms del - deletes the closest weather front
- storms addrandom - adds an reoccurring random storm
- storms delrandom - deletes an reoccurring random storm
- storms add L {x} {z} V {x} {z} S {size} D {time} I {intensity} R - adds an storm, all parameters are optional and case insensitive
- storms addClear L {x} {z} V {x} {z} S {size} D {time} R - adds an clear area, all parameters are optional and case insensitive
- - D: duration in sek (default: infinite)
- - L: Location in X/Z (default: Player X/Z)
- - V: Velocity in X/Y (default:0)
- - S: size in blocks(default:200)
- - I: intensity - lighnings/min (default:0)

Permissions
- weatherscopes.modify - allows players to configurate the weather

I have an error. After removing the plugin the clouds layer is perminantly stuck on my dynmap.
I've tried completley deleting the folders for both weatherscopes and dynmap but with no luck.
No snow?
I didn't release the source code. Why do you need it ?
May I ask where the sourcecode is?
Sorry for the delay, the 1.6.2 version is now up.
As for the dependecy on world guard, I tried to make it soft depending, but it seems it doesn't work this way..
@redundantgaming: I will work on this issue.
Does the scheduler errors still exist ?
Need update for 1.6+ Other than that I love this plugin.
Suggestion: Make storm systems behave like actual rain (Monsters don't burn up when its raining)
Got an error in the scheduler still.
Just a heads up, but you seem to have a dependency on the WorldGuard Flags in your code. If you try to run the plugin w/o WG installed you get this error. [SEVERE] Could not load 'plugins\WeatherScopes.jar' in folder 'plugins' org.bukkit.plugin.InvalidPluginException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sk89q/worldguard/protection/flags/Flag
Thank youuuuu =D
gotta wait for the 151 update i guess, since the 150 donest work for 151
using your latest build and my previous error is still occurring every second.
2013-03-20 13:59:08 [WARNING] [WeatherScopes] Task #91 for WeatherScopes v1.9 generated an exception java.lang.NullPointerException
1.4.6 r0.3? where i cant get it! ty
Is there a way to get access to your dev builds? like for 1.4.7?
Very very cool plugin! but .. I have a couple of suggestions, The sound effect to thunder should be localized to the region under the storms Can you make the dynmap region a circle instead of a square, your docs say storms are circular the dynmap API allows you to add circles as well as squares. Also, any chance of respecting WorldBorder limit? perhaps make it reverse direction when it encounters the border. And lastly, perhaps add some info into the dynmap balloon, just duration and intensity or something. make them white translusent and label them as Clouds. perhaps make their darkness (grescale) could be based on the intensity. :)
Thanks Morlanius
Hi, I have a suggestion, make the Dynmaps regions correctly shown, the storms are twice as big as they are on the map! ;)
It crashes if you don't have WorldGuard.
Please update to 1.4.6 :)
