War
War - Minecraft PVP Arenas (TDM, CTF & more!)

War lets you create warzones, arenas that host team deathmatch and capture-the-flag battles.
Features:
As a player, you get a fast-paced PVP experience in SMP.
- Join a battle by entering through the warzone lobby. There is one gate per team (team diamond, gold or iron): step in to join that team.
- Your inventory is saved when you join a battle, and restored when you exit.
- When you die inside a warzone, you get instantly teleported back to your spawn, and one life is taken from your team's life pool. When that pool runs out, the other teams score a point!
- Steal the enemy team flag to score for your team.
- Fight over monuments, control points that, when captured, restore health to your teammates.
- Return the cake home to score a point for your team and refill your life pool.
- Capture the bomb and run for your enemy's spawn to blow it up. Careful! If you get attacked at close range you'll blow up.
As a warzone maker, you have total control.
- Take advantage cool landscape features or existing player-build structures and incorporate them in new warzones.
- Tons of options: friendly-fire, auto-assign, turn off PVP outside warzones, define respawn loadouts specific to each zone, and more!
War lets you keep mayhem contained in the warzones.
- All the blocks in a zone are reset at the end of every battle.
- Players are prevented from entering or leaving a zone - except through the designated warzone lobby - by a magic glass wall.
- A warhub can be created to link all your zones together.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server.
These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

This plugin uses Metrics to gather data. If you would like to opt-out, you may do so by editing plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true. It sends the information on this page to Hidendra's servers.
Keeping stats enabled allows the War team to find which features of War are most enjoyed by players so we can focus on improving certain areas of the plugin to make the experience of playing War the best it can be.

Hi , im just gonna make a request, can you make it possible in any way , that you can give money from iConomy or BOSEconomy as a reward after winning? And also, can you in someway make this plugin take over Factions? because for now, if two players are in different teams but in the same faction the canĀ“t kill each other.
i disabled this plugin because when people join the game they can still accept /tpa requests and they go through all the extra items then leave with them and sell them at our store just thought i would let you know about this but when people are teleported in the can grief the arena and steal stuff from chjests and dont get teleported out as soon as they are in the arena

A few thoughts I wanted to add about War. First though, I wanted to say I love this plugin.
I have noticed that very large warzones will crash the server on save/reset. Is there any way to optimize this process?
Also, there's nothing in place currently that allows you to reset mobs within the arena. We have a dungeon sort of arena with mob spawners and stuff. However, when the warzone resets the mobs stay up, which ends up being unfair for certain teams. We're looking into other options with falsebook or other plugins to solve this, but it would be so much easier if War had a config option to handle this.
I have had war for about 2 weeks now, but suddenly it is not giving back people inventory if one team wins the game and everyone is returned to the war lobby. It does give it back if you do /leave however.
Hello! Could you implent permissions group switching (maybe via vault) so that players who are in war can't fly usw. Or can you just disable fly while in war?

Is it possible to do like a last man standing type deal? so say you have 16 teams - when one person dies (1 man team) then they are kicked out and only the last team alive wins?
can you please add one feature if possible......I have a 16 Free for all arena with 15 lives each and 1 point to win but people can /war leave and reset their score
IS there anyway to make it so there is an option if you /war leave that you are not able to join the same battle ground until the match is over? that would be really super amazing!!!

Yes you have to turn on pvp in server.properties then restart the server. Use "/warcfg pvpinzonesonly:true" to prevent people form fighting outside.

1) Prevent people from joining the warzone with "/zonecfg disabled:true". 2) Kick people out with a reset (and reset blocks to last save) with "/resetzone". 3) Remove the flag with "/deleteteamflag". 4) Make your changes. 5) Save the warzone with "/savezone". 6) Bring back the flag and set disabled:false.

We just tried out the 1.7.1 preview last night on the 1.2.3 Beta of craftbukkit. Your plugin is totally awesome! To be honest, I was blown away by all the features and the fact that we didn't find a single bug through designing and playtesting a zone.
Seeing as your server is updated... Is the plugin working with the 1.2.3 beta build.

Where in the config can I edit the auto reset? I build a structure around my flag and it keeps erasing it after every round.

That would be awesome! Could you maybe make a scoreboard where players can see their stats? Like points made, deaths, kills, damage done, damage taken, etc.? Would be even more awesome. :D
heyhey tommytony, is there an api for war? Since I want to add a couter to a plugin,which counts the deaths in the arena.

Thanks for this wonderful plugin! One thing, how come when I'm in a war zone with my friends, we hit each other and nothing happens? Do I need to set PVP to true in server.properties?
