What is Vampire?
With this plugin anyone can become a vampire, but do you want to? During daytime vampires cower from sunlight. During the night the humans reach for their holy water and wooden stakes as the vampires roam the lands with inhuman strength, speed and levitation-powers. Driven by their endless bloodlust, they devour all living in their way. Vampires...
- are destroyed by sunlight.
- are extremely vulnerable to wood and holy water.
- spreads the dark disease through combat and their own blood.
- kill and drink blood instead of eating food.
- regenerate health quickly at the expense of food-level.
- won’t be attacked by monsters unless the vampire attacks first.
- take no fall- or suffocation-damage.
- have stationary food level unless in bloodlust mode.
- move faster, jump higher and damage more with bloodlust.

Vampire V5.1.0 MCore5 V1.0.0 for CB 1.4.2-R0.2 is awaiting approval.
snake2cz, your plugin works perfect on 1.3.2!!! Can you send sources to [email protected] ?
I notice massivecraft has been updated for a little while now. Do you plan on still releasing the non spout required version of this plugin or are you waiting to still reintegrate it with Spout for now?
@euQsei Try to use it with latest mcore. Vampire + mCore
DONt Work in 1.4.2
We use this version, which is compiled from the current git version. We have removed the dependence on the spout of the code, because we do not use it. With version 1.4 we are running fine. At least for now :) I hope it helps someone.

Please do a update, i realy like your plugin, and i use it for my server's events :D
(Sorry for the bad english, i'm french x) )
Where can I download plugin for 1.4.2 ?
would there be any way to possibly add 24/7 nightvision (the potion effect) for vampires? I was testing that tonight and noticed how awesome that would be since vampires tend to live in the night hehe. Anyways, really looking forward to the non spout version of this plugin. Thanks for all your hard work again.
I'm sure I'm just repeating what has already been said, but it'd be just spectacular to see bats somehow integrated into this plugin in the future.
@PixelBurst
Spout is required. i got it working :) thanks for that
@SoushiM
This might sound silly but have you definately installed Vcore? I'm not sure if Spout is still required or not as I've always used Spout.
@PixelBurst
it won't work in my server. "Error occurred while enabling vampire v5.1.0 (Is it up to date?)" i really want to use this plugin. any suggestions? i even tried reinstalling the plugin. this time i got "Could not load 'plugins\vampire.jar' in folder 'plugins'"
Are you going to use the bats in the next update, so that vampires can turn into bats and fly around as long as they hava a specefic amount of food in their foodbar? And will they lose food when they fly around?
I was wondering. Could you make a feature where Vampires can see in the dark at night only?
@SoushiM
It works fine on the 1.3.2 Bukkit. Unsure of compatibility issues, but it works fine with the 30ish plugins on my server.
Is this going to be updated soon? I want to get it running on my server and see a werewolf/vampire fight :p
I'm very excited for the non spout version of vampires to release! Spout is nice but I'm just happy users won't have to rely on it now.
Just a request: Can you make it so the plugin can make vampires use another permissions group? For example: If someone becomes a vampire, I would like their permissions to change from a regular user to a separate special permissions group. Is there a way that you can add a config option for the plugin to listen for a specified permissions group when a player is changed?
Much like how the Werewolf plugin does it: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/werewolf/
@Codiiee
I was wondering about your plugin Vampire. In the settings theres a few settings for "update perms vampire", what dose that mean? and is there somway I can allow players to have special permissions when they become a vampire?

Yes exactly.
I guess there is some sort of it already, allthough I still cant see a way how.
