Description
This plugin looks for suitable Minecarts and links them together if possible. When two Minecarts are being "linked", the Minecarts will act as one single moving train.
Once carts are successfully linked, an effect is played and their velocity is shared in combination with an individual factor for each Minecart, which is used to remain a steady gap between carts. This gap is adjustable, the force at which this happens as well.
End result: a train! You can move it, make a roller-coaster out of it, split it in half, watch trains collide, whatever you want to do with trains. :)
As for 1.21, it is also possible to safely exit your train by setting an exit offset with a (sideways) push factor for the train. This feature is disabled by default. (only affects dropped items). If you want to display arrival times on signs (see redstone circuit part) you need SignLink, see the downloads on the bottom of the page.
As for 1.35 you can set train properties to make 'special' trains, or to 'finalize' a train

FAQ
When players are near, trains reach their destinations. With no one near, they don't. What do I do?
By default trains do not keep chunks loaded, and they will unload once they move into unloaded chunks. To make trains keep the chunk area (and themselves) around them loaded, set the 'keepchunksloaded' property to True. This can be done using the /train keepchunksloaded true command, using a property sign or by changing it to true in the DefaultTrainProperties.yml file. For more information about train properties, see here.

Incompatibilities
If you have another plugin that performs similar Minecart replacement techniques, it is likely that TrainCarts will not function or function poorly. For the 'chunk persistence' part of this plugin, other plugins that unload chunks without firing events result in this feature failing. Minebackup is known for having this problem.
Metrics
This plugin sends server count statistics to MCStats.org. You can (globally) opt out in the PluginMetrics/config.yml file.
could you add a feature that deletes minecarts on destruction....i have a mine cart thing similiar to indiana jones, and some end in lava and they dont get removed from the config..
@ berger killer How do the plugin TCHangrail if I make a little station, I do drive it up on a stop sign but can not tie you give me some info about that? At Disney Craft / Craft Efteling tie does it>? Please, help me, and I hope for a quick response.
Players are no longer able to manually move minecarts when riding using the direction keys. Setting manual move config options has no affect on this, but seems to only allow movement by punching when not riding.
I think this may be due to a change in minecart handling in bukkit since the horse update, because I also noticed that left-shift is now used to exit minecarts, just like dismounting horses. That's just my guess though.

An optional delay in seconds. This delay is used when launching. For example, when the right side is powered and a delay of 3 seconds is set, and a train enters, the train will wait for 3 seconds and then launch into the powered direction.
To make automated subway stations that cause the train to stop for a predetermined length of time then launch again, do we need to make our own redstone/command block stations or is this functionality included in the plugin somewhere? I've read the wiki but am still confused, which is not surprising, lol.

My carts dont connect here. They touch each other but when i push one the other one doesn't go with the other one... :(

Hi, excellent plugin!
I was just wondering, is it possible to make trains only stop at stations if they have a certain tag, without switching them onto a different rail? If not, could this be a possible feature for the future?
Oh, and also, is it still possible for players and mobs to be killed when they are hit by a train? I believe it was a feature, and am not sure if it still works...

Unfortunately, it is not possible to turn rails upside-down
Make that you can place rails at the bottom of a block so you can make easy a looping

@dragonfreak1000 Get the right versions for the right server software.
So I installed BKCommonLib and Traincarts and the Traincarts Hangrail and its not working at all. In the /plugins list BkCommonlib and Traincarts are red.

@rboogie13044 If you have two stations activated both on the same train, it is possible that one ends up clearing the other's actions, causing the train to go out of locking. If you have two station signs near each other, see if removing one or merging the two helps. I can't think of much else that would cause it, other than a possible problem with air-launching.
@miat1170 What exactly is the issue you are having? What do you mean by "Speed remains the standard"? Standard what? Default value? Is something not changing, by what isn't it changing?
I have still problems whit the station at the top of my free fall. The cart stops not always, so first time i start the ride and he stops above at the station. But the second round, when he reaches the station you here the sound (thcsss the station arrival sound) but he departes immediately whitout waiting on the signal. This happens randomly. :s
But I still love this plugin, Well-done. fantastische plugin gewoon!
