SwornGuns
SwornGuns adds guns to MineCraft! It allows you to take normal items and turn them into guns of any kind, whether it be a flamethrower, rocket launcher, sniper, or rifle! With SwornGuns, client-side mods are no longer required to have intense gun battles with friends. SwornGuns uses no mods and is completely spout-free.

Configuration
- A detailed configuration guide can be found here
- Compatible with PVPGunPlus gun configurations (legacy)
- Additionally, Minecraft's sound class documentation (used for customizable sounds with SwornGuns) can be found here. Also, there is a config option which allows for a gun to be reloaded when you tap the drop item key.
Change Effect Types
SwornGuns has an effect type option. The config format is:
- radius,time(ticks),effect
- radius,time(ticks),effect,datavalue
so for a molotov effect: play_effect_on_release=4,200,MOBSPAWNER_FLAMES
By default, SwornGuns comes with 4 grenade types (Grenade/flashbang/molotov/smokegrenade). Smoke grenade and Molotov (in their configurations) show examples of how to use the effect configuration. List of effects can be found here.

Permissions
This plugin should work with most major permissions plugins. If a gun NEEDS permission, the node for that gun is:
- swornguns.fire.[gunname lowercased]
Example:
- MAchiNeGUN = "swornguns.fire.machinegun"
- shotgun = "swornguns.fire.shotgun"

Bug Reporting
If you happen to find a bug, create a ticket following this template:
- Provide a DETAILED description of your problem and how it came about, as well as all (if any) steps taken to remedy the problem.
- Provide any RELEVANT stack traces or error logs (use pastebin or I will delete your ticket)
- Provide what version of SwornGuns and Bukkit/Spigot you are using (Please provide the full version string, found with /ua version and /version)
- Provide any other relevant information.
Before Reporting
- Check the Development Builds, often times your problems are already solved!
- Make sure you are running the latest Bukkit/Spigot build
Notes
- Support will not be given for any of the following: Offline Servers and Servers running ancient versions of either Bukkit/Spigot or Java.
- SwornGuns has been fully tested (as well as built with) with the latest builds of both Java and Bukkit.

Using shotguns does not work. Since shotguns fire multiple bullets, the game only registers it as one bullet, and no matter what amount of bullets you put, the damage only counts 1 bullet's damage. It's because of the hit-delay. Yes, I have tried at least 4 different hit delay plugins, one of which worked completely fine in the past (in 1.7.2 using pvpgunplus). Could it be Swornguns that is causing this? My gun-pvp server depends on Shotguns to fully work.
The guns aren't shooting. I've got no errors and the configs are all perfect. Please help? I'm running Minecraft 1.8.9 with the latest version of SwornGuns.

Hello,
I'm using it and find it so cool, but it could be even better if the guns could use clips instead of ammo :
- Now : Using 12 ammo to fill a ShotGun clip -> you need to have 12 "ammo items" in your inventory.
- Improvement : Using 1 clip to fill a ShotGun clip -> you need only 1 "clip item" which is defined to contain 12 ammo.
Players could carry more ammo this way, because they run out of ammo very quickly.

The toggle is on and it doesnt work, the guns are back to being normal items and its broken, Please help.
how do you get a frag grenade or a flashbang?!? and how do make extentions on guns?!? i really tried almost everything but i can't find how to do it
When I put a world in the config after disableWorlds then It doesn't shoot but it still displays the name, can somebody help me fix this? Cuz it is cuite annoying...

Yes you need a resource pack in order to make them look like actual weapons
Does this need a texture pack? My guns do not look like guns and I don't know how to fix it!
Would be nice, if it didn't turn any items into weapons when they are disabled in the config instead of just turning them off

Please update this!! it's such a good plugin and much easier to use than CraskShot but it needs to be configured to 1.8 :/
The out of ammo message is not working I try to change the sniper rifle out of ammo message to "Out of ammo! [this gun needs sniper ammo] and it automatically goes back to [swornguns] This gun needs clayball! I also see that this has not been updated in awhile is this a inactive plugin or active plugin?
I just have a question : Is it possible to add play_effect_on_release to guns and not only on projectiles ?

And why some block can't be put in the effect ? like colored wools for exemple
Hi, I would like to suggest adding weight to the weapon that you have in hand (you know a machinegun is a little heavier than a knife :P)
I know this is possible changing the item attribute to speed -0.X and it still function like a weapon, but it would be awesome that this attribute is added when the item transform in a weapon, and not vanilla manually set it
why isn't firing guns making any sound for me?
