The SwordBow textures have recently been changed since 1.5 had changed their items area in the jar. I think the way they use the items are a lot better for using swordbow as you can use any texture pack and you can choose the swords that your server uses.

Server Users

If your server is using SwordBow you are highly recommended to use the swordbow textures for a better gameplay. The textures can be downloaded below and easily installed with a few quick steps shown below.

Only install the sword textures your server allows you to use to stop any confusion. Ask your server owner or try yourself with each sword on the server to see which swords you can use.

How to use

Step 1 (Accessing your .minecraft folder): You can access the folder on windows by holding the windows key and the R key on your keyword or hitting Start > Run and then typing "%AppData%\.minecraft" in the box.

In Mac OS X, the Minecraft data folder is located in your Username > Library > Application Support folder. You can get here quickly by opening Finder > Go > Go To Folder > type /Library/Application Support/minecraft.

Step 2 (Opening minecraft.jar): Go to the Bin folder and right click the minecraft.jar file to open with a archiver like WinRar, WinZip, PeaZip etc.

Step 3: (Change the textures): Once opened in an archiver go to the "textures" folder and into the "items" folder. Drag and drop the SwordBow textures downloaded into the folder to replace the existing textures with the SwordBow textures.

Now you can close the archiver and the .minecraft folder to start using the textures.
