Features:
- An entity (player, animal) in light will be set on fire. Stepping into shade will douse the entity.
- The entire plugin can be turned off if necessary, or player and mob burn can be toggled individually.
- The effects of SunBurn can be toggled on a per world basis. World not in the worldlist will not be burned, v1.5.0+
- A player may exempt from being burned with the player exemption list, v1.5.5+
- A configuration file makes for easy control of the plugin, v1.5.0+
- Per-world configurations allow for a precise time control system, as well as locking the time and weather in a world, v1.6.3+
- A protective armor system will protect the player, v1.6+
- The plugin will auto-update, v1.7.0+
- A whole bunch of permissions, v1.7.0+
- Armor can now be toggled with /burn armor. Some people didn't like it, I guess... v1.7.0+*

- 1.8.1 - Bugfixes only. I think there was a problem with armour damage and I'll have to look into that. It was not fixed with this update.

AutoUpdates
- These can now be turned off in the configuration because it is REQUIRED.
- By default, SunBurn will continue to AutoUpdate
- Changing "check_for_updates" in the config will disallow checking for updates
- Changing "auto_update" will disallow downloading the update.
- If "check_for_updates" is disabled, "auto_update" will always be disabled, regardless of actual setting.

I know I have been coming out with a lot of updates lately, but hey! Its always better to update a lot than to to not update at all!
Anyways, 1.6.3 is out, and as far as I can tell, it works right on!
1.6.3 adds multi-world support for the time control feature, so you can independently lock the worlds, as well as change the length of the 4 defined time periods.
All of this must be done from the configurations before the server is turned on, because it is almost impossible to change the rates of time progression.
Only time control that can be done through a command is the lock function. If it is sent by a player, it will lock the world the player is in. If sent by the console, a world must be specified.
Since older versions stored the times and locks in the main config, this version will automatically fix your main config. All your data (except time and locks) will be saved.

@portaler1999 As I have said on previous occasion, that is a long term addition and will be done over the summer. For now, get ready to see 1.6 on Monday (Everything programmed, but only minor tests have been performed)

Thanks so much for taking up the reins on this project, it makes my post-apocalyptic desert world so much more challenging than the standard world where the multiverse portals are located!
The only thing the players are clamoring for now is the protective armor feature so we're looking forward to it's implementation when you have the time. Thanks again and good luck with your studies!
Hey guys! Busy week... I should have armor stuff done for next week though! (I hope...)
Also, it has been decided that a full time control system will be implemented ( control length of dawn, day, dusk, and night - all multi-world)
Another feature that I have already coded is an extra damage system. This will deal more damage to players affected by sunburn (not regular fire) to deter them from going outside (damage set in config)
The world-gen parts of the plugin will be worked on during the summer, because I have finals coming up, and need to study!!

This will all be part of a future update. Since this will require a huge chunk of code and lots of world terrain editing by the plugin, I;m not sure that I am ready to implement it just yet. I WILL do it, but not right now. Sorry. Maybe in a couple weeks?

Could you add something in that makes leaves, ice, water, and snow disappear? Also, could you make it so that grass turns into dirt? thanks!

Can you explain what is happening? There is absolutely nothing in the code that is supposed to "eat away at the world"

Yeah hi, i put your plugin on today, typed /burn world Arrakis and my world started to slowly be eaten away by mystical forces. If you could look into this bug or maybe i just overlooked something and its not a bug at all but get back to me soon cuz a world depends on this plugin.....

Aaah.. I was wondering because the original was able to alter the amount of damage sunburn did depending on armor that was worn, even making a player immune to sunburn if a player wore the rightly configured armor. Is there not a way to do something similar to this without the requirement of certain armor's? :) Although reduced damage with armor is still a bonus!
Also in reply to one of your comments about a time management system. I can see this integrating very well with the SunBurn plug-in! I used to combine SunBurn with a plug-in called TweakedCycle, which allowed me to configure the length of day/night for that world. Or pause time entirely. A truly brilliant combination!

I do not think it will be possible to decrease the amount of damage that Sunburn does, but I am sure that I can make it do more damage, and add it to the config! Expect this in 1.6!
I have now installed it onto my server. Added the world permission in-game. Works perfectly! Thanks so much for continuing the development of this plug-in! I'm now able to re-open a world that has been shut for the past few months :)
I asked for the opinions from the members on my server who are all testing this plug-in. & a lot are saying it'd be better if the amount of damage that SunBurn did was configurable, increase/decrease the rate of damage caused while in sunlight. Not sure if this would be possible? :)

Hello vsams, thank you so much for reviving this plug-in! Used to use this for our Anarchy world on our server. But it hasn't been compatible for a while! I won't be able to use it until you add multi-world permissions though, only want it on a specific world, not all of them ;D

"ServerLock" is another plugin that I wrote recently for my own server. This simple plugin allows an OP/Admin to "Lock" time and weather - perfect for when you want to build something and night or rain gets in the way.
However, this plugin could also be used in conjunction with SunBurn Reborn, to create an apocalypse-esque server environment, or to force players to have to deal with the Burn feature permanently.
Please vote to tell me if you think this should be part of SunBurn or if I should create a separate dev page for it! (Poll in top-right panel)

All currently implemented commands are OP/Admin only.
Per-world is still to be implemented, and I will consider adding an option to only burn during certain times of day.

I will apologize for a small lack of content in the next week. I have a big presentation coming up that I need to prepare for, but after that I should be able to add all the stuff we want from this mod!
