What does it do?
Ever got bored standing behind a wall of glass waiting for the next game to start? Or if you're a server owner, do you dread the question "Can I have creative so I can spectate?"
Yep, I've been there too. That's why I made this plugin! When you die and are out of the game, just do /spec on and you will be given flight and a window will open letting you teleport to other players still in the game. But here's the great bit! Players still in the game can't see you, and you can't interact with the world (cause damage, break or place blocks, etc). When you're finished just do /spec off to be teleported back to spawn. Simple!
Any requirements?
If you don't have a plugin with a /spawn command on your server, you need to set up a spectator lobby to make sure players are teleported back to spawn afterwards (see setup section).
Can I get development builds?

About Spigot 1.8
The 1.8 version of Spigot has been released a few days ago.
The 2.0 version of the plugin was tested and works with Spigot 1.8. This version works with both 1.7.9 and 1.8.
The next version (2.1) will only work with Spigot 1.8.
I am pleased to announce that documentation for the new update S2.0 is now available at the new project website.
SpectatorPlus
Version 2.1
By the time v2.1 is released, we now plan to be using Spigot (1.8) and the Spigot API to build this plugin (see here for info about Spigot 1.8). This is to allow us to continue adding better features using the enhanced features that come with Minecraft 1.8 - like titles, improved adventure mode, etc. Using the Spigot API will also let us fix some of the bugs reported due to the extra events Spigot add for us to use.
As such, this plugin v2.1 and above will not work with Craftbukkit or the vanilla Bukkit API - if you haven't already I recommend getting Spigot. It's so similar to Craftbukkit you won't notice any difference, apart from better performance!
@ThisUsernameIsMine
Yes, it will - possibly as soon as 2.1... Glad to hear you like the update! :-)
@AmauryPi
Great! :-) Is or will it become possible to spec a player in 1st person view?
Thanks for the update!
@AmauryPi
Wow, this is a pretty immense update.
Looking forward to trying it out :)
The version 2.0 is out!
With a lot of new features (list here)! In fact, it's the biggest SpectatorPlus' update so far.
Check it out :)
Fixed.
Yes, spectators activate spawners. A fix is possible but not trivial. I'll think about this.
There isn't a simple fix possible as for now in the Bukkit API (lack of an event). If the API evolve, and a possibility is added to control entities pushing other entities, we will reconsider this.
By the way, I may have an idea to fix that using the current API, but this can impact performances.
@Difd9
Yes, I am aware of all those bugs. Unfortunately, -
1) Bukkit does not provide a way for me to stop players picking up xp;
2) I should be able to fix this one;
3) I'm not sure what you mean...
4) Set the toggle colouredtablist: false to stop this plugin trying to colour the tab list;
5) Once again, there's no way to really stop this happening.
Great plugin guys I love it but I have a few bugs to report. 1) In spec you can pick up xp 2) ride horses 3) activate spawner. 4) other plugins that I use also mess with the tabs list and it doesn't work with this plugin (perhaps add a config option to turn it off other than removing the players from the list) 5) Entities can be pushed by specs
@Sinuce →
The server is sometimes restarted for various reasons. The Jenkins server was restarted yesterday (to change a configuration point).
You may have tried to access the Jenkins server at a bad moment.
(I'm the sysadmin of this server.)
@Sinuce
It's still online.
@Sinuce
Its online for me. http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/da4JzH/http://jenkins.carrade.eu/job/SpectatorPlus/
Did the Jenkins site http://jenkins.carrade.eu/job/SpectatorPlus/ die?
Or am I the only one who are unable to connect to it?
@DominateCraft
Issue created.
@pgmann
Yea that would be awesome if you could do that :). I will make an issue on Github now.
@DominateCraft
I could do, if you really wanted it. You mean it would open an inventory showing the heads only of players within the specified radius?
(If you can, please make an issue on Github with your idea, for better organisation.)
@pgmann
Could you add a radius command? Like when a user issues /spec radius 50 it displays all of the users with in 50 blocks and allows you to spectate them.
@EN7
Yes I did. Download the development build if you want to use it.
@pgmann
Hi, did you finally add support for MultiInv?
