Smart-items
The goal of this mod is to allow items on the ground to interact with the block below and give Dispenser some new abilities.
- Saplings that land on dirt or grass will plant themselves.
- Crops that land on farmland will become Planted in a 3x3 area.
- Nether wart will plant on its self on soul sand in a 3x3 area.
- Bone meal that lands on/in a plant will cause it to grow.
- Items Passing over a powered workbench will be Crafted into the item in its Item frame.
- A powered workbench can Craft water potions if water is above the workbench.
- A Powered cauldron will pick up Items Below it, and place into a container, or on top.
- If an Item Frame is placed on a cauldron or hopper it will only accept items like the one in the frame.
- Tools in dispensers will affect a cone of blocks directly in front the dispenser, and animals. (Shovels , Axes, Pickaxes, Hoes, Fishing Rods, and Shears)
- Food near two animals will cause them to breed.
- Empty buckets near cows will fill with milk.

How To Install and run
- Download the plugin
- Place .jar file in your plugins directory.
- edit/create Config File
- Run the server.

Know Problems
- Delete old Config Files to prevent crashes!
- Problems with new Tree types
- Some Auto Crafting problems with complex items, like fireworks.
Just update to java 7 ;)
And btw i think i found the rpoblem with the powered workbench ;) And yes i agree with sheep schearing, i installed a plugin (classic sheep) that will bring back te hit=shave mechanism from mc beta so you can make auto farms. Auto shears would help a lot :)

@Davdinges but it will just pass and go away...? as in vanish or hop over?
The hop over happens when the dispenser is powered or has a sign on it and the item is rejected.
You can try removing my mod and see if the problem goes away,

Put a fishing pole in a dispenser, fire the dispenser into water theres a 1 out of 5 chance a fish will appear in water.
Put an axe into a dispenser, fire at a tree it will chop the logs.
the east problem is solved but if you have water flowing over hoppers it will not go inside the hopper, but it will just pass and go away...
i dont understand 1. the tree chopper and 2. the fish thing, MAINLY the fish machine. Can you explain that clearly??

Every time the dispenser fishes theres 1 in 5 chance to get a fish, but the pole still loses 1 durability. so there is a cost for the fish.

Whoops, I misinterpreted your pictures and suggested the wrong idea.
What I actually meant to suggest was a restriction on what you can put inside a dispenser (dispensers, not droppers), but other plugins that are designed for restriction can do this. The reason I'm asking is because, while auto-fishing looks cool, it is something I don't want on my server. (I already have TNT fishing on my server which gets enough fish.)
vE.1.6.2 im experimenting with bonemeal using the new 2-5 uses to make stuff grow I got it Working on plants, but no luck with saplings yet and I cant do the green sparkle so I just have place holder effect.
also im experimenting with extending the range of bonemeal in a dispenser.

Heres the problem a tree drops a sapling, and it lands on JoePlayers land.
The sapling has no way of knowing who owns it or where it came from.
Some jerk can shoot saplings everywhere. Theres no what to know who dropped the item if it comes from a tree or dispenser.
If a cancel the planting because its owned land, JoePlayer Can't use the mod on his own land.
The only sort of thing I could do is stop players from dropping items on land they don't own but they can still toss things over the borders.

for example if you plant trees into residence area or you full LWC chest of another player with dirt or you ignite someones residence house or you grief something with bonemeal. I can´t guarantee everyone respect rules, thats why I have residence and LWC.

The plugin is not destructive, I'm not sure how you would destroy a map with it??
But no its not compatible with RESIDENCE and LWC because the blocks are not placed by players.

Its not my mod its bukkit 1.5.1.
Do the players will destroy my map in 5 minutes? I mean it is compatible with RESIDENCE and LWC?

Frames are only used for 2 things now, filters and auto crafting, I see no point in limiting Filters and auto crafting can be done without the mod.
why add limits? just a donor perk?
I've thought of one way you could add permissions. Basically, most of the "auto-tools" are made via an item frame on a utility block, such as a workbench or dispenser. You could add nodes (on for everyone by default) that allows/disallows players to put item frames on such utility blocks.
