That is a must. actually, i will have a look...
update1:
The problem is that i can not set whom the orbs should target, for the missing API.
I tried with CB 2063, but currently the orbs will still target you and get picked up.
I am, currently trying to find some workaround.
update2:
It seems to be impossible to just let the orbs drop following the player.
I could try to repell the orbs a bit and remove them depending on how close they are, which might help against other players noticing, but there seem to be client side effects about experience orb, such that the client does not notice the position reset directly, but assumes the orb to be hunting the player.
So the workaround helps against other players guessing they are followed but not against the experience orb animations.
What is it you need, concerning orbs ?
Would it be possible to add a no exp pick up feature?
@dbh937
It works with 1.2.3, i am running it on 1.2.3, just use the current jar !
In the CraftBukkit dev build (2052) they (mostly) fixed the targeting issue, so creepers and others wont seek vanished players anymore.
Great plugin. Any chance this will be updated to 1.2 in the near future? Thanks!
Thanks so much!! Great plugin.
Thank you! it works great!!
@egroen
I just needed it, and for the API was there i gave it a try at the dev stage with CB 1914, so also i would not further need to think about Spout for the moment, having Orebfuscator in mind rather than other additions.
So far it does not have options in terms of configurability, but i am sure that i will add some things, yet my intention was to share this useful thing early, rather than dominating the "vanish-business", but who knows... i might add configurability and features...
@asofold
So far I know the return value indicates if the command was understood by your code and if not the help-text of the used command will be printed to the user. Since the command was understood, but not available from console, I would say 'true'
But you where fast with this plugin, when I saw the new option in R4 I wanted to build something on it, took some time before I could start and after googling for the correct syntax I already found this one :)
The code is real neat, also allot of options (no-drop/pickup) wich I would not have thought about.. I love it! :D
Could use little more doc for the people that have more trouble reading java correctly, but its mostly straight forward
@egroen
Yes, that is the reason for the exception, when trying to let the console vanish :)
Though i am still not sure what the return value should indicate "success of the command"...
Anyway, it will be fixed in the next version.
Maybe i will add support for vanilla join and leave messages (and API-based), and other...
Error comes because after you saw it was not a player, you send a message, but did not cancel the method causing the Player typecast to still be tried.
@DerekZil
You have to use the CraftBukkit build 1914 or newer, otherwise SimplyVanish can not be used !
It is a dev-build and not a recommended build (so use at own risk), you can download it at: http://ci.bukkit.org/job/dev-CraftBukkit/1914/
