ShowCaseStandalone
Home | The Team | Credits | Commands and Permissions | Donations
ShowCaseStandalone is like ShowCase but without the dependancies, and a more efficient way to create shops. With SCS, you can buy, sell, and display items, which float above blocks. You can use most of the major economy and permissions plugins with this, along with some special options for Towny.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

What's broken for newest versions? We aren't building for any of the 1.0 builds, these are strictly for 1337.
World edit will remove the items from the showcases. World edit commands, in general, circumvent normal bukkit operations, so using them will generally mess up plugins that rely on events being raised, etc. However, in this case, the items will generally repopulate in loaded chunks within a few seconds.
However, if you were to remove the showcase block with the super pickaxe, the showcase would remain in the db and not be able to be removed or interacted with until you put it back (by pasting). So be careful using WE on showcase areas.
@gamesketch
just realized broken for newest versions? Can haz latest dev versions?
Im going to try this, however just saying. if i use worldedits /remove items "radius"
Is that going to remove that items? , Are they coming back? :D
@Anaghold
We've tested it in Bukkit 1.0 too. It's working safe and sound in my server, where I have always the most recent builds running. When Bukkit has a 1.0 RB, we may recommend it as well.
By the way, there's a new SCS version with many bugfixes, and good news to those who asked for this new feature (myself included): it also contains the display-only showcases. This version may either be released anytime soon, or when the MySQL support is complete.
When go to update you the plugin for the version 1.0.0? Thank you
Players can sell to their own shop for TONS of easy money... D:
The sha1 hash is just to identify the shop and will be needed for mysql.
You can just create a random sha1 hash - but be sure the hash is only used once ;)
Migrating from ShowCase to SCS is getting ridiculous. With the previous version, I was able to manually edit the 'data' file and import all my old showcase shops, but now you're verifying your shops with a SHA1 hash or something? How am I supposed to manually edit the database now?
OR, could you please implement an importer for Showcases.csv? This would help me tremendously.

Epic Mod! Thanks for the awesome work!
Yup, we're talking about making the permissions have more granular control.
I loved the original Showcase but I think I just found something I loved more.
I do have a request. Would it be possible to either split scs.create into scs.create, scs.change, and scs.sell, or to limit the amount of shops a player has? The reason I'm asking is because I'd like to use Showcase for players, but many of them take it too far and make an entire store for every single item. If I could limit the amount a player can create, or create shops for them and give them the scs.change and scs.sell so they couldn't make more, I would be very grateful.
Thanks for making this. I'll be sure to add it to my server ASAP!
@sorklin
Just using gold and diamonds. The non-plugin economy. If its not possible I understand as this is an epic plugin w/o this :)
What non-economy are you talking about? Without a standardized interface to hook into, it would be difficult to support.
Display only show cases will be epic :)
Is it possible for this plugin to interact with non economy plugin currency's ( ie gold, diamond etc... ) On the server i am on we use Iconomy but we also use the basic gold and diamond currency alongside it as well.
Thx

@lucazanna
A display-only showcase is included on the next version.
Which multiverse plugin are you using? (If its multiverse, we'll have a new build soon that hooks it for late loading, otherwise you'll need to let us know the name so we can hook it).
If its not my default world, after restart all the showcases disapear. with this error..

I've sent a pull request to nolagg with a fix, which will work with our next version. I'm running it on my server, and it does work. However, we have to wait for the dev of Nolagg to accept the pull or recode himself.
