This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
Using this on 1.7.9 and everything works as supposed to, besides the fact that anyone can use any commands, no matter what permission they are given.
So if i've given a player the permission selfservice_create
They will also be able to delete, ANY region, even spawn if that is made. :)
A wish for addition to this mod: people to be able to add members and flags to their plots. :)
If your still looking to put some tlc into this, looks like their looking for a contributor or author now.
This would work good since I used to use simpleregionmarket which is no longer updated, i know i'd use this forsure.
Hello there and thanks for the reminder (as I just want to pass my old code to new server lol) that I might be trying to add the UUID, but since I am NOT a Java coder, so no guarantee on this. :p Hopefully Mithc is updating this asap as RSS is a great plugin.
Hey, I have been looking at all similar WG wrapper plugins. This seems like one of the most fully featured ones, and there are a lot of them.
Unfortunately the code is outdated and feels a bit clunky to me. For example you could use plugin.getServer() instead of Bukkit and pass the plugin variable along wherever its needed instead of importing all of Bukkit. That might boost performance slightly. Maybe moving the schedulers/runnables out of the constructor into their own class might be better, etc. Along with the changes uSoc_lifehome has done.
Also, any plans to update this plugin for UUIDs and whatnot? There are a bunch of deprecated methods called which likely will get removed or changed in 1.8 breaking the plugin. If there are no plans to update this maybe I could give it a bit of TLC if nobody else wants to.
I will copy my ticket here, just for asking other users if there isn't something like that...
My idea is to set up a flag on some region to, for example "max-members: 1"
Hello Mtihc!
I really appreciate your work on this plugin, it's very awesome.
But I have one problem with it, let me describe it. I'm looking for the way of limitating the number of members on rental regions, because I use the plugin for renting shops in town with Chestshop. Imagine situation, when someone rents a shop and becomes its member. Then he puts some goods in the chests and makes it Chestshop. Then he leaves or disconnects for a number of hours which he set up.!
Then someone else rents the region for 1 hour and steals all his goods, because he is a member and can do it. I find this kind of annoying and for me rent system is totaly unuseful.
Is there a way of limitating this number to, for example, 1? Either by your plugin or by Worldguard?!
Is it my fault or the plugin itself does generate folders and configs outside the "plugins/RegionSelfService" folder? It causes a lot of management troubles, is there any improvements in progress with that? Say put all configs into one folders, and save it in a structured format like "plugins/RegionSelfService/worlds/world/regions" ?
is there a way to rent smaller regions inside a claimed region? We would like to have this option, so you can do a great region of 1000x1000 blocks and then rent/sell regions inside for houses for build cities?
@Guldgravare
Can't really help you much if YOU DO NOT READ THINGS. And about the version, we moved like times ago.
@Jokeless98
Right click the buy/rent sign and type "YES". That way you could get the plot easiest.
Is there anyway to rent/buy plots by simply right clicking the sign instead of receiving the plot info?
And What is "RegionSelfServiceConverter"?
I use CB 1.7.10 could you make an update for those versions? @uSoc_Lifehome
And, its another plugin Thats red too!
Help, i have this plugin But in /pl its red? And in the /Help u cant find it! Plz Help thanks!
@YoShIWoZ
Any idea what permission plugin you're using? I might be able to squeeze some time later to have a look on this issue.
PS: Could you report as an issue on Github? It would be faster for me to process.

@Karim_NexusNode
Uhm, sorry for the bad news that it might broke on 1.7.8 or up due to the UUID update.
Again, pull requests are welcome and hopefully someone could put some care on this project. (Contributor/Author post could be discuss-able.)
@uSoc_lifehome
Thank you so much for this, my Economy server is greatly putting your update of this plugin to use! Looks like its working just fine on 1.7.9

Is there a way to extend your rent hours?

For those who need an update on the File Structure, here is a modified version: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/regionselfservice/files/28/
It has been running good on my server, and I think some of you guys need it, that's why the share! =D

I have an issue with the file structure. Anyone else experience this?

Could you explain the anywhere and anyregion permissions?
