This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
2.0 is pretty much a re-code of everything, however it isn't finished and has missing features from 1.7.1. Because of that it's being hard for me to know what's missing or not and finish it since i didn't even got familiar with the previous code yet.
About development, i use bitbucket and usually make my repositories private, but i might make it public later.
Nice. I'm assuming you're still getting familiar with Mthic's code so there's nothing changed internally. Would you mind giving an outline of planned changes for the planned 2.0 version? Also, did you fork his version on github? It would be nice to see development on git :) I had reported a bug on his github there and it hasn't been resolved.
Hello RegionSelfService users, i'm now working on this plugin and will be releasing an update soon.
This update will be an alpha version and might contain bugs, it will include all the changes the previous author did, but that didn't get uploaded here. It will be compatible with Java 6 and 7 and compiled for 1.6.4.
So please help by reporting bugs you find in this alpha version.
Only versions uploaded after this alpha will be actually done by me and will fix the bugs you find/add new features.
Does this plugin offer a feature to restore/rollback/reset a buyable or rentable region from a schematic or from its initial look? If yes i will immediatly switch to this plugin and if no would you be willing to add such a feature?
Thanks in advance
Is it possible to allow discounts to the blocks? my VIP's are using Residences and they have discounts for creating regions, was hoping there was a way to discount the per-block cost or at the very least allow for VIP's to have more regions than normal members.
@Mtihc I have been looking forever for a plugin like this, I finally found your plugin and I was super excited. Basically what I have right now is a world that I want players to be able to define a worldguard region and claim with RegionSelfService. I am having a problem where it is telling me that you can only create regions inside existing regions that you own. The only problem is, I don't have a region in my world, and I don't want players having access to an entire region if I do create one, I just want a system in which players can pay for land and have it protected. I spent hours looking through the config and I can't seem to find anything that changes the outcome. If you can help me get this working the way I want it for my upcoming server, I would gladly send a donation your way. Thank you.
It does not work that putting a sign, automatically in line 3 then appears on behalf of the region.
automaticParent: true
this is? or other settings I need to do?
Ever thought of changing the license to public? I have people who would be interested in using the source code and implementing it into a more organized plugin that is looking to be worked on constantly. Just some food for thought.
Hello, can you help me? Im OP and when i try to Rent or Sell a region ( Sign ) I have the same error "this price must between $18 and $45" I check in config.yml but I can't solved this.
When you type /ss create -ex testarea 64 256
... it will create a region according to your selection. Except for top Y and bottom Y.
When you type /ss create -ex testarea
... It will create a region according to your selection. Exactly!
So you probably clicked the floor twice (with the wand). That will result in a region of 1 high ;)
I finally got back to testing here... Isn't it supposed to use the exact WG selection? When using /ss create -ex testarea it's treating it as a 1 block high selection instead of taking the exact coordinates of the WG cuboid selection. Basically, i'm required to write in the top and bottom y coords.
Thanks a bunch sir... i spent an hour digging through the source on git... i'm not a java guy
I was looking here and here.
Yeah, everything seems to still work sir. That's what happens when you are a great coder and don't use any nms/obc code ;) Do it right the first time, and profit for life.

Version 1.7.2 uploaded, it's a simple update to 1.6.4, almost nothing changed.
The v2.0 alpha i mentioned earlier still requires a lot more work, so it will take a while until it's good to upload.
Anyway, until then please report bugs/suggest features on 1.7.2. (Create Ticket)
Thank you.
@NoChanceSD
sounds good sir

How about a language file to change the output?
Edit: and a MySQL support? =D

You can see my current WG selection in this screenshot. I'm typing /ss create -ex test1
@lANTHONYl
It works like this:
When you type /ss create -ex testarea 64 256
... it will create a region according to your selection. Except for top Y and bottom Y. When you type /ss create -ex testarea ... It will create a region according to your selection. Exactly!

@Mtihc
I found the issue. So weird that we didn't notice this before.
Check line 75. It says "-exact" instead of ".exact"
So the permission should be:
selfservice.create-exact
selfservice.resize-exact (<- this is not even on the permission page)
