RealTeleporter - Teleportation gates
Please read CHANGELOG, TICKETS, ROADMAP AND ALL PAGES THERE before you tell me bugs or ask me new features please : it may be already here ! This is a very simple-to-use teleportation gates system, that permit to freely create and link teleportation gates.Features
- Create/delete/link/loop teleportation gates using commands like EpicGates or WarpGates
- This plugin was made as EpicGates 0.3 and old unmaintained WarpGate plugins have some bugs that are not quickly removed
- Teleporters are created on a single block. If you want dual-or-more-blocks téléporters to work, you will need to create several teleporters
- Work with thousands teleporters without making your server lag
How users do use it
- Build your gate first. It can have any form, but you should consider make it look like a teleportation gate
- Place yourself at the location and direction the player will come here when teleported (and will be teleported from)
- Type this command : /rtel create nameofthegate (replace nameofthegate with an unique gate identifier)
- Create the destination gate, the same way (we will call it nameofthegate2)
- Then link the two gates : /rtel link nameofthegate nameofthegate2 and then for players to come back /rtel link nameofthegate2 nameofthegate
- Or, more quickly, "loop" the two gates with only one command like this : /rtel loop nameofthegate nameofthegate2
- Then place yourself into the gate place to be teleported to the other gate, to check that everything is ok

- /rtel create <gate1> to create a gate where the player is
- /rtel remove <gate1> to remove a gate where the player is
- /rtel link <gate1> <gate2> to link gate1 to gate2
- /rtel help to list all available commands
- /rtel loop <gate1> <gate2> to link gate1 to gate2 and gate2 to gate1
- /rtel unlink <gate1> to unlink gate1 to its target gate
- /rtel unloop <gate1> to unlink gate1 to its target gate and all gates to gate1
- /rtel list to list all available gates
- /rtel orphan to list all gates that have no source nor target
- /rtel tp <gate> to manually teleport to a given gate
- /rtel trans <gate> to manually make a translation teleport from gate to its target
- /rtel withouttarget to list all gates that have no target
- /rtel withoutsource to list all gates that have no source
- /rtel nearest to list nearest gates from you
Permissions
Only if permissionPlugin is "bukkit" into your config.txt :- realteleporter.teleport : player can teleport (teleportation gates wont work without this permission!)
- realteleporter.teleport.showgatename : display gate name when teleport
Each command has it's permission : realteleporter.create, realteleporter.remove, realteleporter.link, realteleporter.help, realteleporter.loop, realteleporter.unlink, realteleporter.unloop, realteleporter.list, realteleporter.orphan, realteleporter.withouttarget, realteleporter.withoutsource, realteleporter.nearest, realteleporter.tp, realteleporter.trans

- Perhaps someday detect the block id under the player, and create the gate as large as the number of blocks with the same id (create 2-4-n-blocks gate)

I have the same problem, when I try to return from the 2nd pad I just fall through the wold beloew bedrock and die. Anyone got any ideas about this problem?
Works brilliantly for me one way. I go the other way and it keeps carving out a massive great world hole! About 30 blocks wide, gate in exact center. Any ideas?
Is there any way to deny people the ability to make portals? In my server people have to pay with the in server currency, so I don't want anyone to be able to use the commands. I would prefer not use any permissions plugins as well. I was hoping there might be a way to make it so only OP's could use them, but I couldn't find anything.
I love your plugin! It works perfectly so far!
I would love to see you add a /rtel create [x: y: z:] so you can create a portal at known coordinates without having to actually be there.

Yes you can. Just build your two portals (even if they are on the same or on different worlds). And link them. That's it !
I love the simplicity!
The link to your ticket system is broken. I routinely get TPed to an unloaded chunk that will then never load...
I use PlgWarp for my admins to warp around but wanted this for players to have access to specific warp points. I tried putting warp points in the same chunks with Plg and have no issue warping to those points with Plg. Chunks load just fine.
EDIT: Alright.... I've done some more experimentation. I can duplicate the same thing with PlgWarp. Not your problem. Sorry. It seems to be related to specific chunks as well as the proximity to the border of the chunk. Not sure. I found an alternate location to place the warp point and it is working.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for on my RPG server. Players board a ship through a door and they're teleported to an exact duplicate of that ship elsewhere in the world, as if they traveled via the ship. Great work!
Well, I agree with Biggan. Her is a few more suggestions for >1m wide portals:
Worldedit hook
"Melt" command. Syntax: /Rtel melt <Newname> <Oldportal> <Oldportal2> <Oldportal3> Error message is displayed when the portals in question touch each other. When you TP to a >1m wide portal, you matrialize in the middle.
Automatic melt. If you walk directly between two Rtel's touch each other, It dosen't count as entering a new one.
Please code one of these, I really need them for my 2*2 glowstone Warp platfoms:
This may sound stupid but can you set portals to other worlds?
Just what i wanted, but, can only create 1 portalblock at the time :(
Maybe have a stick and all blocks i tuch gets turned into a tp block with same name.
