PvPManager
Using multiple plugins to handle PvP? Don't want to use yet another plugin just for that one feature? Or even just looking for a good and updated Combat Log plugin with great performance?
Just use PvPManager, it offers multiple PvP features and the list is constantly expanding!
More suggestions are always welcome.
The major features include punishing players who log out to escape combat, allowing players to toggle PvP easily, blocking commands/teleportation for players in combat, protect new players on your server and even prevent kill abuses!
The plugin supports multiple worlds allowing you to disable it in some worlds and each feature can also be toggled off so don't worry if you don't need all the features!

If you have been using PvPManager for a long time you probably know how much it improved since earlier versions, it was the first plugin i ever released here, many years ago.
I really appreciate it if you have been using my plugin over the years, even if there were times where I was less active.
If you wish to support my work, there is a premium version of PvPManager. Think of it as a fork of this version but with improved performance and many extra features and improvements.
If you don't make a profit from your server, this free version is NOT abandoned and will keep receiving updates but don't hesitate to throw me a nice review, it means a lot more than you think!
Note: You might need to register on Spigot to see the premium resource!

You can customize the ingame PvPManager messages by editing the file "messages.properties". Change locale to your own language in config.yml or edit the default messages file, it supports color codes (&1, &2, etc) and hex color codes.
You can help translate to your language here: Crowdin
Notes
- PvPManager has an auto updater, it's optional and possible to disable by going to /plugins/PvPManager/config.yml and opt-out under the 'Update Check' section
- If you find a bug, please create a ticket so it can be fixed

@Gypsy6
Sure, i understand. To be honest i don't think the menu i made looks that good, i will add a permission.
And i'm glad you like the plugin :)
I have a question if I may. Is it possible to add a perm node to the /pm command? Or is there a way for me to disable the /pm command altogether? I run a custom set of help menus on my server using the HelpPages plugin. While your help menu is more than adequate, it does show options and commands I don't want my players to see. (This is purely aesthetic on my part) Please forgive my ignorance if there already is a way to do this. I am fairly new to plugin configuration and what you fine folks do is nothing short of wizardry in my eyes! haha
On a side note:
This plugin is simply outstanding. I cannot say enough in the way of good things about it. PvP Manager has added a whole new functionality to the landscape of standard PvP. Thank you for the hard work!
Next version almost ready to upload, probably tomorrow will be uploaded here.
Has all of the fixes and all of the accepted suggestions requested on tickets/comments.
@FlappyKillmore
Confirmed, that is a bug in the plugin, but it doesn't affect anything at all in terms of server functions. Basically, it sends that message if the player doesn't have the the permission "pvpmanager.sign" and is clicking any sign, which obviously should only happen if the sign is a pvpmanager sign.
Now i have some free time and will get some work done really soon, including this fix.
Your plugin is interacting with my other plugin ServerSigns, causing it to spew out '&4You don't have Permission!' every time a sign is used. Although the user does have permissions to use the sign, PvPManager decides otherwise.
Error found using - - PermissionsEX - ServerSigns - PvPManager
If you get a sign using this plugin and do /svs add <server> /pex user <player> add essentials.sethome
Basically anything along those lines your plugin causes it to tell the player he doesn't have permissions. It's not that it prevents it from happening, just tells the player there isn't any permissions. So if you could fix that I'd go back to using your plugin on both servers because it is a great plugin!
Will give that a try, thank you!
@Ackuraku
You can open the pvpmanager.jar with winrar and edit the file plugin.yml.
Just find the command pvp in that file and below description section write "aliases: example", make sure it's aligned with description. And now you can use /example instead of /pvp if all worked fine.
That should work i believe, i will add some alternative aliases in the future, should have done that already. Check this page: http:wiki.bukkit.org/Plugin.yml if you are having problems with where to write what.
Would there be a chance for there to be an option to change the base command?
The command /pvp conflicts another plugin, so i was wondering if we could like determine what the base command is so I could switch it?
Not sure if this is a ridiculous request or not, thanks either way!
@xion87
Hm, is disable fly really enabled in config?
Last time i checked(right before uploading 1.5.4), it was working fine. Maybe some of your other plugins is conflicting with this one. Btw, try to shoot an arrow while in creative and see if it disables gamemode, if you have time.
@NoChanceSD
ty for the fast reply, i tried with me as survial player (with another account) and i hited a guy shotting arrow (by flying) i entered in combat but i can still fly...
@OriginalMadman
I'm a little out of time right now, but will add it for next version for sure.
@BlockWar
Ah, i thought you were saying worldguard flag didn't work, but you hadn't even tried it yet lol
About the Top Kills, that will take a bit more time to implement and like i said above i don't have much time now but in the future i will add it.
Great Plugin! Worked better than i expected, waiting to the ´´Top Kills`` Implement :) and got a suggestion to it, to complete Top Kills add Kill/Deaths ratio if possible. Please add my server to the server list? socialblock.mcph.co (Portuguese-Brazilian)
@NoChanceSD
Sounds good, bad bugs kill good plugins! But I hope you have some time to sneak in that /pvp list command and some of the simpler goodies too. Thanks for your hard work!
@xion87
It's working fine on 1.7.2, should work on 1.6.4 too. If you are OP it doesn't disable fly.
i am using 1.5.4 with 1.6.4 server and it dont block fly when a player enter in pvp flying...i am using essentials plugin fly...
Uploaded version 1.5.4
Sorry about all these small updates but i believe that before working on any new features all bugs should be fixed. That's just my way of work.
And that's exactly what this version is, mostly just fixes and some tweaks.
@BlockWar
It doesn't override worldguard, make sure you are inside the region with the PvP flag and that the flag is 'allow'. I'm pretty sure it works, try checking if your PvP is enabled with /pvp status
This Plugin override worldguard pvp allow flag? Because i was using Night Attack and i wont pvp in pvp allowed regions during the day.
Thank you very much for looking into it, I appreciate it alot.
I talked with the people who had complaints and they were fighting enderman, but using enderpearls and got confused. So only enderpearls had this issue, I had them retest to make sure.
Thanks again!!
@Ackuraku
That shouldn't be happening at all, maybe some bug on version 1.5.3. Try using version 1.5.1, i will take a look and check what's wrong.
Edit: I tested with some mobs and they didn't trigger anything. However, throwing enderpearls caused me to get in combat.
Just finished fixing that and a couple more bugs and will upload soon. Can you confirm that mobs really don't cause this? I didn't test them all and i'm scared i might have missed some mob that also caused this issue.
