Uploaded version 1.7.0 for version 1.4.5-R0.3! Waiting for the bukkit staff to approve the file! Keep in mind this version will replace the old config.yml, keep backups!
@minecraftyord
That would be a bit out of the scope for this plugin as PerformanceMonitor was intended to monitor server performance. Thanks for the suggestion anyway :)
What do you think about having the login and logout data of each player written to a database / flatfile / whatever to give you the total amount of time played for each player? This would really help me :)
@lANTHONYl
Depends if you host the server locally (for you only) or not. 127.0.0.1 is basically your localhost, see: http://compnetworking.about.com/od/workingwithipaddresses/g/127_0_0_1_def.htm.
Reports server IP as 127.0.0.1 Any idea why?
Wonderful plugin! Works for 1.4.
excellent plugins :)
@Mshax085
It's an excellent plugin either way, I'm quite pleased with it ;->
@pengh
That would be a bit out of the scope at the plugins current state. If I choose to continue expanding the plugin and it's features to become more like a manager I might add such features.
@Mshax085
Another thought, if the web backend had a page to list all the plugins/plugin vers like PluginsManager does that would be very nice, and be yet another plugin I could replace with this.
@pengh
Yeah, I will create a web-interface for this plugin. Making PerformanceMonitor to count all entities (etc.) in all worlds would not be too hard so I might do that as well. Thank you :)
This would be awesome if it could dump to an html file, maybe with some more verbose options, also if you could add entities for all worlds not just current I could replace lagmem with this.
edit: oh just noticed you mention a web backend, cool.
@joehot200
This is a plugin to monitor a servers performance, not restart a server. There might be options to do so if I choose to extend the plugin even further but so far that's not any planned feature.
I just loaded this into my server and already I like it! :D I'll test it out over the next few days and see how I like it!
this looks interesting, but i see no way that this would help me to stop restarting my server.
@LHammonds
Sure, I'll add that; the next version will feature a web-interface which will act more as the central hub for this plugin.
@Mshax085, would you mind adding the following lines to plugin.yml in your next version?
Thanks,
LHammonds
@kenaston
No problems kenaston! Stay tuned for the upcomming updates, will feature webinterfaces and more.
Thank you so much for this plugin! I've been having so many problems with lag on my server. Well, I have managed to lower the lag quite a bit, but this will totally fix my servers uptime. Downloading...
I'm not sure if you're interested, but I might be able to make a video tutorial for your plugin when I get my recording equipment up.
