OtherDrops
Make anything drop anything, anyhow!

OtherDrops allows you to add anything from a simple "glass drops glass" or mob rewards, to a complex overhaul of your servers drops with drops differing depending on tools, biome, time, weather and much more, along with custom messages, actions and commands.
OtherDrops is lightweight* (it only acts on what you configure) and respects most protection plugins (eg. WorldGuard, Regios) settings. Many examples are included that you can enable and/or customize as you wish.

Conditions
- Multi-world support - create separate files to handle each world
- Add super rare drops with chance values down to 0.000000001%
- Specify tools required (or a list of tools eg. [any sword, -diamond sword])
- Lorename, Heroes (class & level) conditions
- Cooldowns
Actions
- Apply actions alongside the drop (or even without a drop)
- Damage tools and/or consume items (eg. use dyes to color wool)
- Damage or heal the victim, player or even the whole world
- Apply potion effects to the victim, player, radius, world or server
- Display custom messages (or a list of messages with one selected at random)
- Create explosions, lightning, visual effects (including particles), sound effects
- Run commands
Ideas
- Give leaves various chances of dropping apples, sticks, cocoa beans, saplings, etc on break and/or leaf decay.
- Make glass, stairs, and boats reclaimable (can be tool-specific if you wish).
- Allow gold and iron to be mined directly into ingots with a golden pickaxe.
- Allow users to right-click on cobblestone with vines in hand to turn the cobblestone mossy.
- Nerf mob traps by disabling drops from environmental damage.
- Unleash the zombie apocalypse by setting zombies to drop zombies when they die! (This can be world-specific.)
- Make mobs that don't normally spawn naturally spawn.
- Make mob spawning, drops, and events biome specific!

Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

- Media/art: OtherDrops could really do with some tutorial and example videos.
- Testers: Testers who are able to go through the plugin and rigorously check that things (both existing and new features) work as they should. PM Zarius your Skype (or other IM) details if you're interested or jump on the IRC channel.
- Programming: any assistance is welcomed - see the todo list here for some ideas. Anyone with refactoring and/or automated testing experience that wants to assist would be great.

Hi, i want to make it so that diamond ore will drop 1 diamond when destroyed by ANY_EXPLOSION. I cant get it to work.

I think that's unfortunately impossible to do with Otherdrops.
However, you can use scoreboards to check if a player is wearing this specific helmet you want to drop (with the same name, by example).
If he does, a command block should give him endlessly the Night Vision effect (for 20 tics).
I don't really know how to do that, I've personally never tried, but I know that's possible, just search a tutorial. ;)
Hello there! I need a bit of help if I may.
Specifically this is what I am aiming for. I want a creeper to drop a Iron Helm that, (once worn by a player) will give said player the potion effect Night Vision. When the player takes off the item, the effect will be removed. I have no idea where in the command line to accomplish this or how to run the format... This is what I have thus far...
CREEPER:

@phantom147 If you're using different drops with chance, the original drops will be replaced only when the custom drop's event occurs. So you need to mention that the mob/block must drop nothing if the event doesn't happen. e.g. : If you want Zombies have 10% chance to drop a Carrot, otherwise nothing :

(LEAVES_2@0 for Acacia and LEAVES_2@1 for Dark Oak).
LEAVES@GENERIC targets only the Oak leaf block. (it's one of the aliases of LEAVES@0)
There some way to change the drop of webs broken by flowing water?
Default vanilla drop is still dropping while " loot_overrides_default: true ". Is there anyway to block default drop? Currently using Spigot 1.8.1 and latest version of OtherDrops 2.8b.596
Hey iv got the following code: How do it make it so that for each of these pickaxes it would drop different items?
Now if i use an iron pickaxe with the name Mithril Pickaxe it would drop me a diamond If i use an iron pickaxe with the name Mithril Pickaxe with fortune 1 it would drop me BOTH diamond and iron ingot :( Any clue on how to make it drop me only the item that is set to drop with looting 1 pickaxe?
do you happen to know the ids for the new leaves ? acacia and dark oak, im trying to make it so they drop an item but it doesnt work, i tried item ids and didnt work i did notice it uses something like

but idk how the new 2 leaves will work.

Found a bug with leave blocks, i have it set so acacia drops an apple 100% of the times <an example to test it> the acacia tree does drop an apple when i break the first leave but then when i start breaking the leaves connected to the first one i broke they dont drop apples, same goes for dark oak leaves.

You can give them names, lore and change the colour of the name too. Here is an example of my own.

I may have simply missed this when reading through the documentation, but is there a way to give drops a custom name? I can't seem to get it to work.

Have it so when you mine a block, for example iron ore, the block doesn't drop an iron ore block, instead a console command is run for example the command would be /!*give %p Iron_ore 1

Is there a way to make the custom block drop automatically go into your inventory upon mining? I cant find any plugins that seem to work with it, Im trying to use this for my private cannon server (Dont ask why :P) but I can't find a way to do it.

Also for example with this u can make all snowballs spawn chickens with 12% chance:
- trigger: PROJECTILE_HIT_BLOCK
tool: PROJECTILE_SNOWBALL
drop: chicken:baby
chance: 12
And you can mix normal and custom mobs possibly by replacing a certain % of mob spawns (like zombs or skels or just all) with custom mobs.

plugin support animals (drop money vault) from the mods? (mocreatures)
is it possible for a tool to give a player a permission when they use it? but then after the tool is consumed and the permission is taken away? I made an item to warp you to another world but i dont want them to keep the warp command. the item wont work unless they have permission to use warps.
